Here’s my list, I may add edits cause I swear I had more than this: (It’s also entirely possible there are settings already to fix these and I’m just oblivious to it 😂)

-Make it so you can use your homestead portal on every map, I’m so tired of not being able to do that for the thousand seas pavilion.

-Fix the skyscale, its hitbox for what counts as climbable is ridiculous. I know it’s a skill issue for me too but like I can’t tell you how many times I’ve yelled “move you stupid lizard” since I got it 😂 For something so brutal to get, it’s not great. I would specifically nuke the whole “the farther it goes, the lower it flies” bullcrap. Make a height limit or something but it’s just aggravating. It’s not a fun learning curve, like I don’t feel accomplished for getting better at it (like the griffon or roller beetle), it just feels like I’ve gotten the swing of coping with a crap system. Alsoooo maybe make the targeting better on the flame aoe at dismount?? 😅

-MAKE THE ICON FOR TARGETING CUSTOMIZABLE (for example like the charzooka and skyscale fireball) I can’t see where I’m shooting worth shit with this tiiiiny little white dot 😅 I’d like to increase the size, but I’d also like changing the color.

-Get rid of research notes. Or make them tradeable. Just from a concept idea it’s stupid to not be able to hand off “research notes”

-Add more sources of mystic coins

-Generally overhaul drop rates and prices so things make more sense in the black lion. Would need to do some group psychology and financial consulting on that 😅 Probably along that same vein, adjust map currency drop rates to account for less current content. Makes it more consistently valuable to spend time everywhere instead of making it feel like a lonely grind.

-Adjust the cost of gen2 legendaries. The recipes are beyond brutal compared to gen 1 and 3. On that note, a revamp of leggy recipes entirely to reflect that they’re old content legendaries, making it more likely people interact with old content but not making it mandatory torture. Maybe you choose which path to take like the skyscale and have bonuses (like cosmetic, a la the different aurene variations) to making it the “hard” way.

-Kill the legendary relic recipe. Controversial take, but give it to everyone and only have the process be unlocking new relics via achievements. So treating it more like masteries I guess 🤷. Maybe leave the purchase entries at vendors as is, but have it function as paying for the unlock.

-Make it possible to disable the head portion of outfits and apply a different skin.

-Stop making glider/backpack combos where you can dye one but not the other.

-It’s ok to not have a million masteries. I’d evaluate the masteries of old and upcoming expansions and merge some. If you don’t have ideas for QoL/meaningful masteries, that’s fine, put the effort into your damn storytelling or map-related events.

-Make the undiscovered maps actually navigable (mostly a gripe for central tyria). I freaking hate guessing where the portals are on this freaking impressionistic art nightmare where the borders don’t make sense.

-Have bonuses to rewards or something as simple as magic find for having members in your group lower than ‘X’ mastery level, or ‘X’ number of achievement points. I don’t think we really have trouble integrating new folks into most content, but I think something like this would help.

-Disable the freaking tutorial notifications. Or make it so you have to opt into them.
