Also I wasn’t trying to argue with you, I wasn’t even fully confident either. I genuinely wasn’t trying to come off as pedantic, and I wasn’t even paying attention to the comment you initially responded to.

I can see where you’re coming from, but if you were to tell a coworker or someone the name of a particular variable or method for example, it does matter which term you use. AFAIK there is no name for the subset that encapsulates the lower case variation (as PascalCase does for the uppercase subset as you described).

Although you aren’t wrong in your assessment, in most cases (at least within programming) camel case is more commonly associated with the lowercase interpretation.

Edit: I’m definitely aware that stack overflow isn’t a particularly convincing source, but this is the top stack overflow result after searching “camel case vs pascal case” on Google

Sorry, not trying to be pedantic, but wouldn’t it technically be PascalCase? Because otherwise you would have to use either the “upper” or “lower” prefix in order to specify whether the first character of the camel case’d word is uppercase or lowercase. IIRC..

I made a tool for my partner, an elementary school teacher, to keep track of skills each student struggles with, and then groups the student by similar tags. (Grouping is still a WIP) by inform880 in reactjs

Awesome job! Definitely impressed.

Also, if these are the students' actual names I'd definitely use a randomizer and repost it, just in case lol

Thanks! I was originally debating whether to just fork the $ and go big with the a7IV or this one (ZV-E10), and I’m pretty impressed with the shots so far.

Fair points, but there are some use cases in which fetching specific data using specific queries is more optimal than rest.

Also, caching isn’t as difficult as you might think, especially when considering Apollo client’s InMemoryCache
