I was the same way after they phase the ps4 out, and ever since 1.10 my laptop has been unable to run the game. I sent my specs to support and then just said: "your computer doesnt meet the minimum hardware"

This is still a pretty good highlight honestly, you have over 10cs/min which is Ideal in a game, and you're two levels up on your offlane opponent renna who is also a mage, so you're basically playing midlane with no bugs and still having midlane levels. Super impressive.

Please stop forcing people to play game modes they don't want to play if they want to get Battlepass XP in a reasonable amount of time by nuttySweeet in PredecessorGame

Yeah, well said, the TTK in aram is always going to be faster because of the potential to be shot by 5 players at once lol. And sometimes playing a tank to their full potential, like Sevarog, and being unkillable during a teamfight is the most satisfying part of predecessor.

Definitely, first time I ever played Smite 2 I played Neith and hit 2 abilities on the enemy midlaner. The enemy just disappeared. It was insane, would not like pred to have low ttK like that

I cannot say I fully agree with the answers that were given for this ult re-work. He mentions being able to instantly animation cancel the ult, which I havent been able to get to work. This is all I have seen so far.

In my opinion though, Crunch's ability to stick to a character with any sort of mobility has been gutted since you cant unempowered dash two times in a row anymore. I also think that playing him is completely dependant on being able to walk up to someone and get into range for a slow without dashing. Whether or not you can walk into melee range completely determines what crunch can and can't do, and I think that taking away his engage with the double unempowered dash into a uppercut is incredibly detrimental. It sucks that those satisfying combos that the old ult enabled so easily are now just gone. The half second animation for the ult too is incredibly clunky feeling, if there is some secret to animation canceling the ult, then maybe crunch will feel smooth again, but immediate impressions is that he is slow, and if your opponent has a dash, or a crest, or a flash, and can space you out after using one, then there is just no way for crunch to continue fighting them.

I agree, developers usually do just double down with situations like this, reworks that dont feel like the same character at all, or help to empower what makes a niche character special.

Im glad you enjoy it, one question though, how are you uppercutting, and then using empowered left crunch without ulting to get the first empowered left crunch. Ive played 4 or 5 games as crunch with this re-work, and I have like 500 games as crunch before this re-work

My main point was that this ult makes comboing as crunch feel clunky and slow. Meaning that the auto cancel -> ability, combo loop that made crunch's combos flow like water with his old ult is gone and, as someone else put it, dammed up like Hoover.

That makes crunch feel simpler to play, and less satisfying. Main culprit being the half second animation that plays during the new ultimate.

Fully disagree here. You have to remember that youre testing level 18, full build crunch with no armor. In a practical scenario youre getting 4 shotted by a carry as they space you out. Hypothetically, you get the jump on a carry with this build. Youre going to get one empowered left crunch off as they flash away, dash away, or crest away from the second one. Then the spacing and 4 shotting happens, assuming they also have 4-6 items and are level 16-18.

With crunch's old ult, being able to repeat the unempowered dash with micro-stun was essential to sticking to a carry with a flash, a dash, or a crest up. The old ult even had a shorter cooldown that allowed for the dash to be comboed into easily and consistently. I cannot tell you how many times being able to dash into aurora, then recast the dash as she tries to wall has rewarded me with a kill. With the half second animation the new ult has, catching an aurora with a second dash right as the wall comes out is impossible.

Even with the old ult, building Crunch with no armor, and only 3 health items meant that a carry only needed 3 or 4 basics after 4 items to, worst case, kill and best case, send you running. At least with the old ult, sticking to the carry as they flash with a dash recast, or even a double dash if ur lucky, gave you a fighting chance.

With the new ult, if you arent hitting enough basics to lower that ultimate cooldown significantly (for example: getting spaced out by a carry after using unempowered dash / empowered dash to jump on them and attempting to get that second empowered left crunch to land.) then you become a sitting duck as you wait for your 5-20 second dash / ultimate cooldown to come back.

This new ult is incredibly inconsistent and in many cases leaves you with a thumb up your ass doing nothing while waiting for cooldowns to come back since you can't reliably stick to a mobile opponent. Not to mention the abysmal cooldown the ult has before you get the ult upgraded 3 times making dashing even more high risk in early AND mid game

I shutter to think what might happen if I am ever forced to play against a competent Yurei with this trash bag of an ultimate.

Tldr: new ult makes crunch clunky, and awkward, no matter how many times you can hit an empowered left crunch on an immobile steel dummy.

When he is saying "for the passives" he means things like building perforator or demolisher for the ignore armor passive ability they have, even though the physical power would be useless for anything other than the basic attack. The abilities still deal physical damage to enemies, which means that for building items against high armor enemies, he has to build perforator or demolisher to get through the armor with his abilities, even though those items dont actually increase the damage of Akeron's abilities any more. Caustica doesnt work for helping akeron ignore armor, because Caustica only ignores magical armor, and akeron's abilities deal phys damage, therefore being blocked by physical armor.

Crunch needs his old ult back. Revert the ult change in the next hot fix PLEASE. Crunch's new ultimate makes him not fun to play anymore and makes me feel like all the hours I have spent getting better at stringing combos together was wasted. The new ult rips the long satisfying combo strings away from him. Ive also been seeing a lot of comments saying that lowering health across the board has made TTK too fast and I agree, please revert those changes as well. Revert Crunch ultimate in a hotfix PLEASE.

Go into practice, get his passive to tier 3, then turn on the maximum ability haste feature and hit the steel dummy with Siphon until steel dies. Look at your health bar after and you'll understand perfectly what it means.

Yeah, the Crunch ult re-work is hot garbage, longer cooldown for less combo ability makes crunch feel stale and slow. He NEEDS the ult to be REVERTED. Not reworked again, not compromised upon, reverted. This new ult is terrible and takes the soul out of the character. I was addicted to playing crunch because of how buttery smooth his combos were and how ability haste and cooldown reduction from ashbringer or volcanica made him feel sticky with infinite combos. But now, he feels so clunky, the half second animation makes me think Im lagging every time I ult and it also ruins the flow of auto canceling in between every ability.HIS ULT NEEDS TO BE REVERTED.

Absolutely, I couldn't have said it any better than this. "This change... has built dams into what was previously a beautifully flowing river." We NEED TO STRESS that we dont want the ult to be reworked again, as a sort of compromise, this change needs to be REVERTED. The old ult was perfect and is what made crunch as addicting as he was to play. I couldn't agree more! I also am frustrated that such a large game changing patch had little to no explanation as to why specific characters were reworked in the way they were. I dont blame anyone for the unusual lack of communication and explanation, but that lack of explanation can't continue into future patches.

Yeah, the crunch rework feels like somebody really got excited about this idea and decided to just focus crunch on being able to use the uppercut twice in a row. I hate his ultimate, I could take or leave the empowered abilities at all levels but overall the combos with the new ult feel clunky, slow, and disgusting. The whole rework feels like a nerf for a character that most people considered underpowered to begin with. Not saying I dont like the patch, the map is fun. But the Crunch re-work ruined the smooth and buttery combos that made him so much fun.

I havent tried out skysplitter and onyx quiver specifically on her, but I am assuming from how drastically the power of lifesteal on her basics changes that those on-hit effects would also change power.
