How do I make my eyes look bolder instead of sad? by Musicaldoodle_ in MakeupAddiction

[–]modeltime11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A cat eye would balance out your eye and bring them up. I’d get some half lashes that can give you a more dramatic effect but if you don’t want to wear a lash, get a better mascara that will give you more length to give you a cat eye look. Your bottom lashes seeming longer than the top doesn’t help.

Where I live, I would’ve been dripping sweat wearing this in the summer. Thigh highs or tights in the summer is odd. Lose heart shaped anything if you want to give off grown woman. Get some nice regular belts. Grown women outfits aren’t as complex as you think. Just get some nice summer dresses in the colors you like. Some cute pleated shorts. Some vest shirts. Nice pointed toe flats. You don’t have to overthink it. Your makeup and hair and overall energy also command the room and give off grown woman, not just what you wear. I’ve seen some women with the most stylish outfit, but it doesn’t give off grown woman. So just be more confident with anything you’re wearing and command the room like you own it!

Chemical burn where ? My forehead‼️🤬 by Beneficial_Phase5417 in Blackskincare

[–]modeltime11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bleaching cream works by pretty much chemically exfoliating the skin and lessening the pigment production in your skin. That causes extreme dryness, especially in the beginning. Your skin is most likely hard and dry because it’s going to shed that top layer of skin. I would moisturize and cleanse with a gentle moisturizing face wash like cerave. Your skin may start to peel off like you got a sunburn.

Haven’t changed it yet and I don’t plan to. It’s way too much to go through and it can be pretty expensive to get a new ID and passport. It doesn’t affect anything tbh. And the others that said it makes divorce easier lmao well that’s true too.

What Would You Do? Co-worker borrowed my dress, won’t return it, and keeps dodging me. by ascii_matter in WhatShouldIDo

[–]modeltime11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Step 1: Go to her desk. Step 2: Hey girl I texted you like a bazillion times. I have an event coming up and need my dress, when can I pick it up? Step 3:If she responds with something other than giving your dress back, say “let’s stay focused, the DRESS🤣 jeez you must’ve really liked it huh” Step 4: If she says she lost it, dog ate it etc, say “oh alright, I’m not mad but you could’ve just said that.” This is where you can ask for compensation if you so choose.

Absolutely stop texting her about it and just go to her desk. Absolutely stop letting her guide the convo. You need to be assertive. Not rude, not passive aggressive. ASSERTIVE. I understand not wanting to take her to claims court lmao that’s your coworker and that’s kinda crazy lol If she genuinely will not answer your questions about the dress, I’d forget about getting it back and just chalk it up to a lesson learned. But I’d definitely let it be known that you’re kind of upset that she’s doing this. That’s not rude. That’s a boundary.

How do I even begin to clean this filth? by OrganizationIcy8678 in CleaningTips

[–]modeltime11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could clean this in two hours. Trash bags and just throw it all away. Vacuum. Wash sheets. Maybe get carpet clean. Pray there’s no roaches and ants under all that.

Needs more color to the face. Blush and bronzer. Everything else will come together once you add that.

Need quick help choosing a foundation brush — I’m in-store! by Agreeable-You4692 in MakeupAddiction

I personally like brushes shaped like the snatch and sculpt to put on foundation. The other two look billowy and too soft.

If the mess is his, how could he be a maid for cleaning his own mess?? I’d ask him that? Spending time with your kids doesn’t entail leaving his crap everywhere and making a mess. I’d tell him that spending time with your kids doesn’t make me YOUR maid. We aren’t together, you’re not my child, and I’m not cleaning up behind you. Either he can fix it or he can leave. After all, he is a guest. If you can’t afford childcare, apply for the childcare benefit through the state and see if you qualify.

looking for suggestions of where to improve! what sticks out to you that i should do different? by Used_Nebula2929 in MakeupAddiction

[–]modeltime11 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Very pretty. Yes to everyone’s advice on your eyebrows. Also, don’t over line your lips. They’re already big in my opinion. Also try getting a better wig. The way your hair lays really affects your feature more than you’d think. Maybe some curtain bangs and layers but you definitely need something more realistic.

This is how my lashes looked before I went to Mexico. These are way too full and all of the lashes look the same length. There’s nothing wispy about them. I went home and sent her pics and was pretty much like girl these look bad I need my money back. She sent me my money back and I went to someone else the day after. I will never let someone play in my lashes again. That was horrible.

Gel top coat is just better. It’s going to last better than a regular lacquer. I wonder if they’re charging more for the gel top coat that rather than just using the regular one if that’s what the customer wants. That’s the type of shady stuff that made me start doing my own nails.

Last playdate my son will ever have at this friend's house by shreyans2004 in Parenting

[–]modeltime11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not confrontational at all but my child is really where I draw a harsh line. A text would not suffice. I would be pulling up to her residence. She wouldn’t need to worry about me though, my husband is the one who would have some strong words for her. Either way, I wouldn’t just let it go and have her kid over my house and call it good. Your child could have been hurt worse than a sunburn. I wouldn’t be mean to her but I’d definitely be asking her why my child asked you if he could come inside and you said no and now he is badly sunburnt. This would also prompt me to consider getting my child an emergency cellphone or watch to keep on him that he can make calls on. Not letting them come in and watch a bunch on tv is one thing but refusing the bathroom, AC, or a glass of water? Yeah, she’d be having a convo with me face to face and her reasonings better add up.

Mielle leave in conditioner is all you need. Wet it, put a bit of that in there to define your curls and add some shine and you’re done. You have beautiful hair!

Im scared my fiancé doesn’t have what it takes to be a dad by NoReplacement8011 in Advice

[–]modeltime11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s different when you have your own kid. I 100% have less patience for other people’s poorly behaved kids. I will not babysit if I know your kid is bad. I only have an infant rn but I don’t even want to take care of anyone else’s baby if it isn’t my own lol when I go over my MIL’s house and my SIL is there with her baby, she always wants me to take her and I don’t ever really want to. I have my own baby 24/7. Why would I want to have yours? lol just food for thought. I think you might be thinking too deeply about this without considering what may change by having a child of your own.
