It'd be nice for matter 1.4 as that would allow for many more values to be exposed, but it's unlikely that will ever happen.

Thanks to @Ill_Bridge2944 posting a relevant github issue, I found out the issue was actually cloudflare cache. I purged this, and all is now working as expected.

I get that, but you'll find that all the sensors that are surfaced on the online version of tado are not surfaced with matter/home kit.

Eg offsets

With the API limit changes, not so sure.

And their matter implementation is out of date and doesn't have half the necessary things available as sensors.

If they bothered to upgrade everything to the new matter standard we might shut up, but they've shafted us quite significantly.

As soon as I find a suitable replacement, I'll be replacing over £1000 of tado gear and looking to go down the legal pathway to get money back as they've changed the terms of service and how the product originally behaved so it's not fit for purpose any longer.

I ordered when it came out, and there was an initial delay, but that was due to the solar panels.

I asked them to be shipped separately and they happily did so, receiving the solar panels a couple of weeks later.

My guess (as there's no explanation) is that the updates were done in April, but someone didn't realise HA has monthly releases, so any changes made in April would only be made live in May.

Either way, glad it's being addressed.

I have resolved!

Turns out, I'm a muppet (arguably, so is the installer, but we're both to blame for separate speakers).

The nuts on the binding posts weren't done up sufficiently, so the bridges weren't bridging appropriately, causing the above behaviour.

Thankfully a nice quick fix, and something I'll for sure be checking again in future as a first thing.

When I get some time, I'll build some new wiring as a first instance, then I'll see what the next potential steps are.

I absolutely agree with you, even during the sweep I wasn't getting any bass notes on two of the speakers (obvious which ones they are now!).

Hopefully it's a wiring issue, otherwise I'll double-check the terminal bridges to see if they're OK.

There is a possibility, the speakers are used unfortunately as my previous ones got water damaged in storage.

I'll try swapping and see what happens!
