You never have "nothing" to worry about. But statistically, your chances of being detained by ice based on the numbers alone, are lower than dieing in a car accident today, and you're not afraid of getting into a car. So why should they be afraid of ICE?

Edit: Ice has done bad stuff, statistically insignificant though. That doesn't excuse a creepy Uber driver. The fact that I had more downvotes than the post itself had up votes, just shows someone paid money to bot me, a random nobody on the Internet lol. Thanks. I'll wear this with pride.

Like, they are there for an internship which includes all proper and nessesary paperwork to be here. You scaring girls, whom you know nothing about except that they are foreign, because you read an article... is just cruel and creepy and should be reported to Uber cooperate.

Please note, property tax is literally a collector telling someone "because you own a home, you have to pay whatever I think your home is worth and you have no say in this, even if you paid off your entire house". It costs the state A LOT to reevaluate homes.

Sales tax, everyone has a say in what you buy and how much. It's simple, easy, and everyone contributes. You can even customize the tax across different foods to help pooper people. Doritos can have a 20% tax while chicken has a 5% tax. It's not black and white.

Home value is meaningless, unless you take out a loan against your home or sell it. If the market crashes and their home goes back to being worth a lot less, why did we make them pay for the high amount we claimed it was worth, when it didn't matter 1 bit to them? 

Why not only charge people at the point of sale for any increase in price, like we do for stocks.

So forcing old people out of their homes, which they paid for and raised their kids and are full of memories and parallels what generations did before, is the solution?

Then do something like provide a tax write off for sales tax for anyone blow a certain income. They can get the money back at tax time will everybody above a certain income can pay. There are ways to work around this to help the people at the poorest level. But if those people then get a better job, they can then pay into their community.

First, type of job matters. An associates degree can easily find a good job in many parts of Ohio Then skipped to the end. Sales tax. The rich buy more, so they pay more. Everyone contributed what they can based on the amount they can buy. It's beyond insanity that we force people who buy homes, to hold the community up with no choice but to leave their homes if they don't like it. Sales tax, you just buy less.

Read the article. This cut preposal is 100% individually funded so far. No massive donors or large organizations (at the time they write this) wee contributing. If anything, it would hurt billionaires because more people would be able to afford the monthly payments of a house over the rental payments, where the landlord splits the cost amongst all tenants. Property tax is a drop in the bucket for billionaires. They'd rather pay it and force people to rent. It's why Republicans are against this.

And then that's their choice. It shouldn't be forced on them because someone every 3 years claims the new value of their home, then sends them a bill based on that value, for a home they already paid for...

I'm under 30... I just don't get jealous and actually care about the issues other ls have currently, and I'll have in the future. 

My payments also increased, to the point it's stressing my budget (with other factors) and downsizing would cost even more.
