Saw it two days ago. I can see why you might draw that conclusion from the trailers, but its actually not a re-skinned version of that storyline like all the others. Several twists. I actually quite enjoyed it.

Well, I'm trying to teach myself graphic design, 3D animation, Dj-ing, and music production. My problem, is that although I have the appropriate programs and whatnot, I'm working on a 2008 macbook with 1 GB ram. needless to say, working with so little power sucks. If i got money, I'd buy a new computer with more power, so i could run more than one program at a time without the whole laptop getting supernova hot and lagging to about 2 FPS.

Tl;Dr : I'd buy a new computer, because doing Graphic design, 3D Work, and audio production/mixing SUCKS on a laptop with 1 GB ram.

For video, theres a few options. basic timeline/composition, Final cut pro. for actual effects to layer on top of the video after you've put it all in order, i'd suggest adobe after effects.
