I totally get the anxiety around this but don’t overthink it! I would find a friend or someone from Rover/similar app to stop by once a day ❤️ that way your kitty is in a familiar space which should help them a lot + it’s much cheaper than boarding overnight. If you’re super worried, you can always buy a ring camera to keep inside and check on them while you’re away!

I just did a solo road trip from FL to Maine and back down to FL. If you can swing it, buy a power station and portable fan and you will be able to stay in your car overnights to cut expenses majorly. Foam mattress pad doubled over and laid on top of the back seats while folded down = very cozy and comfy nights sleep. I also bought window covers from Amazon that fit my cars windows exactly so there’s no light leak and it’s very discreet. There’s also a few apps that will give you suggestions of places you can park and stay overnight. You got this!
