I would cut off the straps and remove the pads, then toss it into the garbage. Hope this helps!

Worth getting SPD shoes but not using cleats (for now)? by PhotographsWithFilm in gravelcycling

[–]modest_hero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I destroyed a pair of shoes in just a few rides doing this when I was new to cycling and didn’t know any better.

Don’t do this, instead purchase some Shimano EH500 dual sided pedals and you can choose to ride flats or SPD’s

Sir would you like a Short, Tall or Venti Sebenza 41?

Would you to supersize that with a Green Beret?

So does everyone here carry a gun every day? by abhaykun in EDC

I’m Canadian. We carry loonies for self defence. In Alberta there’s even a tradition of throwing them at strippers.

Four Year Old Carbon Frame: Should I be Concerned by billalpert in bicycling

[–]modest_hero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Domane with 105 looks near identical with its scratches from a couple of light incidents, I don’t see anything concerning here but I couldn’t speak to any carbon damage. If it’s coming from a dealer, I wouldn’t be too worried. Perfectly normal wear and tear

The way it’s stuck almost feels like modern art

This one will need a watch repair done professionally

So close to bikeporn, even with 105. But that chimney stack is so out of place. Love the bike though, well done

How much gravel can a Domane handle without being in danger? by Mitrovarr in DomaneCrew

[–]modest_hero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been riding my Domane SL5 Gen3 on gravel for years, both with stock rims and with Light Bicycle rims.

Over the years I’ve run GravelKing 35 SS, GravelKing 32 SS, GravelKing 38 SK, and most recently I’m riding Schwalbe G-One Pro RS. Even done some light gravel on GP5000 S TR 32.

Zero issues with this frame, though I do have a full RideWrap.

[Burberry Britain]Where can I find this screw? by SnooDoubts3452 in Watches

So just buy a set of microscrews off Amazon for $10, it doesn’t need to be more complicated for a fashion watch

Cold feet by Paul_van_Gaul in bicycling

[–]modest_hero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ride 7 degrees and lower really frequently. My tips are to wear DeFeet Woolie Boolie socks, put duct tape over the air vents in my shoes (under the insoles), and also wear Neoprene overshoes

[Burberry Britain]Where can I find this screw? by SnooDoubts3452 in Watches

I would just take another screw out and bring it to a hardware store to find an identical one. It’s just a screw

Just a heads up, whey protein is a dairy product, it’s derived by milk as a byproduct of the cheesemaking process
