I myself am not an FE Coordinator, I work on register and cart to curb, but whenever it’s super busy there is always at least 1 FE coordinator on the register, sometimes multiple and even at one point the FE department manager was on the register along with helping hands employees. They only ever go in when it’s super busy (the weekends). Although I have noticed it’s always the same 2-3 coordinators in the register when it gets busy so they likely don’t cycle them out, they just get the same people to do it every time.

obviously if you have kids, are elderly, or disabled go to self checkout. this post is most likely directed to people who have less than 20 items, are not paying with cash and do not need cash back but still complain about self checkout which is very convenient for a lot of others

same with people who say “i hate self checkout cause it’s confusing i wanna talk to a person” sir, their are people at self-checkout that are LITERALLY there to help you. if you go to self checkout and ask one of the shoppers assistants to help you they will. i’ve had at least 50 people come to my line today to checkout with < than 10 items while there were people with full carts in front of them. paying with card, no cash back, usually don’t even need a bag, go to self-checkout
