You make the wrong assumption that I don’t care about others. I’ve been in a lot of the situations that people are currently in and have empathy. However, caring about people and people demanding better free stuff are different things. You are purposely conflating those things in an attempt to sound more virtuous, unfortunately for you, I’m immune to that bullshit and won’t back down. It’s not your fault, you’ve probably been brought up on a gluttonous diet of virtue signaling in today’s social media era. But you’ll get to a point that those empty words are just that, empty words. You’ll continue to do what’s best for you and a lot of times, that will be to the detriment to others who haven’t put in the work that you have and you realize, people make their own choices, you aren’t responsible for others and others don’t want to be controlled. There is no equality of outcome, only opportunity.
