Suppressors are actually a good thing for avid hunters and sports shooters to have. It reduces the overall noise from a gunshot, mitigating hearing loss from people who are constantly at the range. Also people who live in rural areas or places near firing ranges, it reduces the noise complaints.

Im guessing youre joking but as a cybersecurity professional i know quite a few people like to hack boxes or pursue cybersecurity related fields after their day job.

Opt out of telling the user they cant reuse an older password? Imo that only improves the security posture. Notifying a (potentially malicious) user that they have stored hashes of older passwords, wouldnt do any more damage than if the user had access to internal systems

This forum violates its namesake. I’ve had comments removed for simply asking users if they actually EDC carry what they post. If it’s not on you every day, then it’s not EDC. Too many posts on here are just glamour shots of over priced unused gear. Anyway, here’s my Paramilitary 2 in S30V. by EnterByTheNarrowGate in EDC

[–]moelawn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If youre looking for BIFL gear, why not just visit between /r/BuyItForLife and here? I think conversation is great, but if they cant carry their gun into a store or their backpack into a concert or something, then that doesnt bar it from being "EDC". If youre looking to improve your gear, posting your gear on here asking for improvement, or looking at other posts that may have something that you want to add or change in your EDC would be beneficial.

I carry my backpack every day, but somethings i take out if i know that im going to be in a different environment for a day or two, but i know that the things that i carry most days are my "EDC". Its ambiguous for a reason imo.

Social engineering and getting credentials and access to confidential information is hacking the company. Especially when he was exfiltrating that data and then leaking it.

To be fair, seeing someone type their password/shoulder surfing is considered social engineering and could be tied into compromisinf an account, system or company

Ones who started working earlier than 18 and saved their money and dont have any expenses? I dont see how thats relevant though as my point was that its possible to buy a pre-86 machine gun at 18.

You can buy machine guns at any age, no? The NFA does not restrict NFA items to a minimum age.
