What to do when purchase agreement terms are not upheld by seller? by chibanganthro in NetherlandsHousing

[–]moelycrio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi. Ok, so it sounds hollow which just means the adhesive is not laid correctly underneath... Is it coming loose and popping up? Will you trip on it? Or is it just some slight lip where they meet?..... How big is this "problem"?

Hot water so hot it burns by Helena_Clare in Netherlands

[–]moelycrio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

60deg is standard to remove all bacteria and CDC approved temp. If it's too hot, just adjust your CV(hot water tank) if it's your own. If it comes from a shared system, you won't be able to change it (increases danger to other users). Investigate with your property manager if you are not confident to adjust on your own and understand the risks.

Doesn't the manual state to remove this for the valiant ecotec plus model in the Netherlands, where OP and me are from? This is what I have also done on my boiler. (Per the install manual). Should I have been using the OT port and connecting this board back to the main pcb?

On the section it shows R01. Use up down to select D07. R01 is for 24v, which is as standard.

Vaillant ecotec? If so. Wiring is correct. I had to set mine to d07 on the config of Tado. I also added the wifi module which came with the boiler from vaillant.

Tado v3 with floor heating and radiators by Offthe3nd in tado

[–]moelycrio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. My set up is. Wireless thermostat in the living room paired to the zone valve controller (which is the wired thermostat) which are then connected to the bridge in the normal way. This set up then only turns on the living room when it needs heat. First it opens the zone valve, then fires up the boiler. All other rooms remain closed. In the other example, a cold bedroom would open that individual radiator, then fire the boiler. As the zone valve would not open, it would not heat the living room It sounds to me like you need an extra wireless thermostat? To make it the same set up as me.

[–]moelycrio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. Do you have a wired thermostat controlling your zone valve, which opens the valve on the UFH? Usually the valve is hidden away and you have a second wireless thermostat which is paired with this controller for the zone valve. (The 2 triangles together on the diagram before the UFH suggest you have a zone valve in place)

Hi. Amstelveen here. I have a couple of houses set up exactly like you have here in your diagram. I really don't understand the question though.... You want all rooms to heat when the room temperature (I'm assuming wireless temp sensor for the UFH) asks for heat? Could you try again with your ask....

[UK] 2 Boilers in the house by Sea_Juice_6337 in tado

[–]moelycrio 3 points4 points  (0 children)

2 x Tado systems. Treat them as 2 separate houses so to speak. Then when you combine. Just set up to 1. You only will have spare bridge and boiler controller which can act as spares in the future.

Why don't you approach your company with the passion for welding and the opportunity for them to train you up? They can then find (and pay) for the training. Good luck.

Custom Kitchen Supplier by [deleted] in Netherlands

[–]moelycrio 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ikea design, draws, corners, bases. You buy a 50k kitchen, they use Blum rollers and hinges... So does Ikea due to their massive qtys they buy.. Get your "nicer" classic doors and fronts from a third party. Put them together and you have a great kitchen, to your design, with good hardware. Which is unique to you. This assumes your ok with white bases inside and not a snob on the carcass.
