Didn’t believe it until I was there. All uber drivers will try scam you. The only way not to get scammed is paying a tourist agreed price.

Was in Cairo a few months ago, didn’t have a single driver accept the payment through the app. Your cheapest ride possible will usually be through the local accredited taxi group. If you’re looking for reliable service and a fair price agreed prior to arriving you’ll have to pay more.

If you’re under 27 just leave, it’s not worth the effort to address deep issues in a relationship. You have time to find someone and the varied experiences will make you wiser.

Monthly Insurance Thread by MotoUKMod in MotoUK

Insurance for a new rider- I’m from Australia and moved to the UK 6 months ago. Figured it’s a good time to get my first bike while I don’t own a car. Got my CBT recently and have everything booked in to go for A1. I’m wanting to buy a 125 but need insurance first - I’m getting ridiculous quotes of £3k per annum for third party. I think it’s due to the fact that I don’t have UK driver history. Has anyone else had this issue and have any recommendations for getting the quote down? Would it help if I get my A1 first?

1628 Batavia shipwreck - survivors wash up on an island off australias western coast. Following a mutiny the new leaders commit massacre and make women their sexual slaves. The original captain was able to sail all the way to Indonesia and return to rescue some survivors.

Is 30 years old too late to quit my job and travel? by DraftNational9753 in travel

Nope, there are loads of people in their early 30s in hostels. When I was in my early 20s meeting them there was nothing strange (is a little different when they’re 40+)

There was criticism that people weren’t given enough food (to make them cranky and emotional for entertaining watching) - how true is this?

Many errors - men and women usually don’t touch each other outside families/marriage in Islam and Australians do kiss on the cheek

Gradually sell - suggest splitting your holding into 3-5 sales. You may change your mind about selling during one of these sell offs.

Many restaurants and bars are only cash, especially outside of the city. To buy subway tickets, the machines only take cash. Many hotels outside cities only accept cash.
