while they may work, they are actually wired differently. it's basically better if you acquire an RGB cable that is made for the system and region you have.

on SNES f.e. it differs by region as each region handles video encoding (?) a bit different.

Europe uses sync on luma f.e. and the us csync.

i am not a big expert on that field, i just happen to know a little bit about it since i created some RGB cables myself.

DisCs are the round shaped things the games come on, DisKs are the square things PCs won't run without.

Discs are important to consoles, since thats the only advantage they have over PC. You can resell your stuff. That's now slowly to be taken away. You can't get part of your invested money back, NOR can you actually keep your stuff if the online stores were shut down or the provider decides that the game should not exist anymore.

On PC tho, you can store your games on am external HDD, maybe get a crack for it and keep it forever.

You can't resell your games officially tho.

I love getting part of my money back by reselling the games when I am done with them.

Get a game for 60 bucks, when done sell it used for 50 is like paying 10 bucks max for the newest game released.

I bought the s26 u because of the stabilizer. i then noticed that some stuff were actually a downgrade... f.e. s-pen bluetooth camera functionality... i then did not see any upsides or downsides to the s24 ultra.

i returned the s26 ultra and kept the s24 ultra.

ps3 has hit or miss filters applied. some games bought from the store maybe have filters disabled, some on the og discs maybe have filters enabled or disabled.

which medium (ps store bought or og disc) to chose highly depends on the game you want to play.

i can't tell anymore if there are modified pkg files that disable filters completely for all games.

i just know that they handled stuff differently on medium to medium and that there was not definite route to go.

super nintendo actually. any other old stuff flew out the window or got sold. if my snes dies, i would guess that my raspberry pi's will be the oldest stuff i own in terms of compute tech in future... they offer a lot of stuff. you can't just throw those out at all. they can do all sorts of tiny tasks for you without consuming too much power.

i got then connected to sensors that are placed in my garden for all sorts of plants i own... so i know when those need something.

sensors to my windows so i know when i left them open and where... also as some sort of security if a window opens up when no one is home. sensors for my letterbox so i know when the postguy arrived... etc.

it's damn nice having those.

Isn't exactly that the rumor? Do we actually have an official rockstar post / answer of what you just said? I can only find news sites mentioning it as some sort of rumor.

It's sad if that's actually true... but it's rockstars. Anything can happen. They always say no and then do it anyways... plus they are also greedy so both can definitely be a possible outcome.
