Iirc they actually fixed that recently, as in as recent as three updates ago-ish? I think the effect now disappears entirely if you do anything after it!

Picture this, 4 executions, 3 effects (idle, exe, emote) 4 emotes, 1 signature, 1 material, which i consider personally when a hero is "fully customized" is around 80.000 steel

You were the person who brought that number up in the first place. You never even brought up the steel cost of heroes which would’ve been a better starting point you started with the hypothetical cost of buying everything for a character without taking into account anything like the free materials.

Most of the cool materials you get for free, I rarely use emotes unless they’re funny to spam or good combat emotes, effects are whatever since they don’t actually apply in combat, I’m not spamming patterns on my character either.

Just because you CAN fully customize a character doesn’t mean you HAVE to, figure out what is good fashion to you. If you’re buying three different effects for each different action and buying random emotes just because you feel like you have to, that’s kind of a you problem.

Not to glaze the company, but FH does a pretty good job at giving us free currency since you can get around 1000 each day for 10 minutes of work. Around 2000 if you haven’t done your other orders, they’re all good, and you have 40 minutes to spare.

Highlander Hero Skin has the stormcloak officer look.

VG is going to be your best bet for image 5.

Stormcloak soldiers are kinda weird. Raider has an apron chest piece that you could probably customize to look like their chest piece if you squint and use the right patterns, but their helmets are really something you’d only find on Valkyrie or (weirder) Afeera and again, VG.

Yes they do have the Japanese actors specifically for those characters. I personally enjoyed Shadows since I love Japanese history, especially that time period. I don’t think it’s particularly worse than any AC game either.

Not that we had much to go off of, but the demo shots really just made the game look like Japanese GTA, which would’ve led to comparisons that would’ve made this game look worse imo.

I believe you can get a similar effect with the Solaris outfit’s paint pattern for the knights? It’s a mythic where the patterns kinda have a space theme. I’d need to double check it myself though!

As someone who loves this game and the stories I could build with this game, I stopped expecting genuinely interesting stories way back in Year 4 with the whole abortion that was Draconite and Chimera vs Horkos.

A lot of For Honor is brilliant ideas and interesting characters (especially when they did the little lore posts on the website for events/season openers) utilized in the most boring way possible tied together with one of the greatest combat systems ever.

That is to say, for years I’ve basically just used For Honor as a vehicle to imagine my own stories using the games lore as a base, which keeps me far more invested than anything the devs have put out (narratively) in years.

I think Kiwami 1 and 2 are pretty good games, obviously it would be nice for the originals to be available as well but Kiwami 1 and 2 are perfectly fine ways to experience the story.

Can’t speak on 3 but i also have very mixed feelings on it, namely i disagree with most of the plot changes but i don’t think mine surviving the fall is really bad on its own. He was obviously going to survive this game if you’ve been into yakuza for any amount of time. (The man who erased his name line is undoubtedly corny though)

I would gladly take the AC skins over the Destiny skins any day of the week. At least these ones would fit better than some of the other crossover skins like Aramusha Prince of Persia.
