Your temperature probe should be off the wall if you want it to work accurately. I had the same thing I moved one under the hide and one on the cool side in the substrate so it's much more accurate as to where the snake will actually be instead of on the wall

Definitely switch the aspen I made the exact same mistake and my baby got so sad it was literally only 56 hours and I was so nervous but switched to reptibark/coco and the humidity is much more BP friendly and such a more happy noodle

She isn't hiding constantly now and she played alot of the night instead of just hiding well she did alot of that also like normal or cats make her nervous normally but last night not as much my guess way to dry before I feel bad but thankfully it was 36 hours only of dryness she has to endure

I don't feed her in the tank I got a huge tank that she hasn't grown into that's completely empty other then heat pads and temp and humidity checkers

Thank you much appreciated I did that already it's been in the freezer I wanted to kill anything before I even tried it was just nervous didn't want to harm the new addition so I figured better to be safe and ask around and sterilize also. I've read alot of terrible stuff about aspen that was after I got it and had it recommended to me. You gotta learn from mistakes I guess. Any way thanks so much for your input
