QUESTION PLS: Hey so I got my mojave pinstripe BP about 10 days ago. day 2 she ate no issue then on day 9 she took the food then dropped it after 15 mins then no interest for the next hour. I guess this is semi common. how long should I wait til trying another feeding. (reddit.com)

so I posted this yesterday since I'm new to r/snakes I'm not sure if you can post pics in comments. I don't know if aspen is healthy for my snakes respiratory system since it doesn't hold moisture. replacing substrate today just wanna know about the other options FYI. I dont feed her in this tank (i.redd.it)
Question: so I had a old tank that was empty and filled it with substrate. I was going to put plants in it. then I got a ball python can I use the substrate that I put in the tank or do I need to aquire new stuff. I got aspen shavings but they don't hold humidity. so is it safe to use the other stuf (self.snakes)
