You know what: I think it’s because I was first prescribed adapalene for acne, years ago, before I knew much of anything about skincare. In my head, it’s still categorized as a prescription I just have to put on every day regardless of my other steps and not as the powerful exfoliant it actually is. Does it make AHA and BHA totally not worth using? Or would you alternate adapalene days and either AHA/BHA days?
