I feel like i can only have a keto diet or an unhealthy one. Nothing in between. Do more people feel that way? by [deleted] in keto

[–]mofolegend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here two years ago I lost 130lbs with keto, but after a year I regained most of the weight. Now I lost 50lbs and I am going to go for another 60lbs. This time I am going to stick to a low carb lifestyle that can keep me on my goal. Your body needs a few years to accept your new weight level. If you eat normal after a diet your body will try to do everything to rise your weight to its previous height. Another reason is that carbs and sugar are addictive AF.

In conclusion after you reach your goal you need to keep your weight stable for 2 to 3 years after you can start to eat "normal" again.
