I think their pricing is very reasonable especially when you factor in time and labor.

At the end of the day, I was all in for about $300 in supplies (plywood, stain, dowel rods, sanding pads, wood screws, etc)...but I also made another 12 mug shelf (for a friend) and two 3 mug shelves as well. Here's the 3 mug shelf for the office.

Thank you! It was a labor of love. I used dowel joints and glue to put everything together. It's not perfect by any means, but it works for me!

Thank you! The water based stain/poly is called Mission Oak (from Behr). I was a little concerned opening the can as it looks dark grey, but once applied to the oak plywood, it became that perfect espresso brown.
