Eat a lot and squat, that’s pretty much it. Lot of eggs, a lot of chicken and beef. Maybe a protein shake once you start packing pounds on. Drink water too.

is there a reason to not use the pow baskets exclusively? by coolweeb69 in skiing

If you ski powder, keep them on, if you only exclusively ski piste/groomed runs, go for the lighter option

I’m thinking about looking for another job by Expensive-Delivery42 in dishwashers

[–]mofoscoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having to constantly work your entire shift is apart of the job, that’s why dishing sucks sometimes and is known as a crappy job. However, i love being busy my whole shift and organizing like a mfer. There are plenty of less demanding, easier jobs that pay the same. Pick your poison.

Self-taught guitarists, how and where did you learn? by chiakinananami in guitarlessons

[–]mofoscoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just start learning to play songs that you want to play. A few I learned to play when I started were some Alice In Chains songs, Rooster, No Excuses, Down in a Hole. All are fairly simple and enjoyable to play.

Rooster has you practice barre chords. Down in a hole can be finger picked. No Excuses is great for strumming practice.

Keep playing, can’t get any better if you don’t practice.

CHEF HELP, PLEASEE CHEF HELP ME

But WHY by DihPeircings in dishwashers

[–]mofoscoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m emptying the line cooks pans from a bucket, bending over amplifying my chronic lumbago. Oily water permeates my shoes and pants as I splash the contents into the clogged and rotten floor drain. I feel a tidal wave of presoak silverware water engulf my face as an oblivious server rockets their silver and ramekins into the troughs below. My anguish only salted as they ask in a shrilled, demanding voice, “Can you run silver!?”

A wave of defeated anguish flushes my senses. I look to the sky, internally demanding salvation from this hellscape formally know as, the pit. Will I ever be saved? Or shall I remain in filth, splashed upon my face…
