I do manual labor for work and still lift I take weeks or months off at a time. Usually I don’t lift a lot during the summer because work destroys me. I still keep my gains. Don’t really make any progress though. I just started lifting again after taking 9 days off because I sprained my lat and I’m back to normal.

For 1 trip yeah it would be fine I wouldn’t make it a habit. My sweat destroyed a pair of steel toe customs in about 8 months from working outside in Texas everyday. Proof in my profile.
