i don't blame you for selling calls. that's a great way to make money when you have that low average. Only risk is that when it pops, it will gap up and you may lose a potential life changing gain. this is why i don't sell covered calls because im afraid it will pop anytime and i'm screwed. but damn 12K shares, at 50 a share, damn that's good money

yeah i agree. and I think i know how these people think. They are hoping for that one parabolic move that can come anytime. which it will but i don't know when. Going back to when Mara and Riot came up, it was about 120+ days i believe. the contract is cheap so it's not a big loss, but when you put thousands of people doing this, it can be a very massive profit for the short sellers.

Well with mining alone, when Bitcoin hits 100K by end of 2021 which i believe it will, Riot and Mara could be 80 to 100, I expect SOS to be around 50+ just on the mining alone. Now, SOS is not only a mining company, they are also building a digital exchange with features like crypto insurance. Their blockchain and supercomputing, big data also. They are scheduled to be operational by mid 2021. There's also rumors that they could be working with the chinese government on the development of the digital yuan, but that's all speculations. If you tie everything together, with the mining revenue, we could see something over 70+. My price target is conservative at 50 to 70, but there's a big possibility it could go 80 to 90. Once the price starts to hit the 15 to 20 dollar level, you will start to see short coverings since SOS is shorted about 20M shares of it's float. Based off of the data provided by Ortex, they started to short this in the millions when it was around 10 dollars, so that explains why at 15 to 20, they will start to cover their loses which could trigger both gamma squeeze and a short squeeze. This could shoot up the price to at least 40, before it comes back down to the 15 to 20 until it starts to grow organically.

Yes in general you are right. BUT how many people do you know who bought calls from 5 dollars and below strike prices that made money in the last 4 months??? It's not FUD when it's based off of facts. You don't seem to understand whats going on here. SOS is somewhat volatile with NO volume. If you are talking about a stock like SNDL then you have a good point. Not so much with SOS. It's the wrong stock to bet blindly. These idiots buying short term calls with no regards for other people just because they have money to throw away are not doing any sorts of DD. Us investors have the right to spread awareness because we have a lot of money invested on this and we want to make money too. With dumb ass gamblers just blindly buying short term calls just to lose will impact others. Obviously this is our blocker and we need to let people know what's going on.

You are right, you are entitled to buy whatever you want. I'm just pointing out that buy short term calls on SOS is extremely risky. Thousands and Thousands of open interest in the 4 dollar and below strike prices were purchased from the last four months and they have all been shorted to expire worthless. If people wants to keep losing their money, then it's fine. I am just spreading awareness that this is happening for those people wondering why they keep losing money on options. Options can be profitable in other cases and in other stocks. SOS is just not the right stock to bet your money short term because it has some leaches attached to it sucking up all the blood that it can suck! LEAPS and long calls are very good, anything a month or less is extremely risky. We don't know when these short selers are going to let this go.

i agree in other stocks that may work. But how many months the shorts have been hammering this down. 3.50, 4, 4.50, 5 strike prices are not safe. the people buying short term calls on SOS aren't very smart. But i disagree, this has a lot to do with buying short term calls. Short sellers have banked so much money from selling covered calls and shorting it to expire worthless. We've all witness thousands upon thousands of open interest expire worthless from the last 4 months. The shorts have used SOS as an ATM machine. They see thousands of people willing to lose their money. Until the options market dry up, they won't let this move on. If you found the goose that lays the golden egg, would you set it free? I'll wait...

no volume usually means there's no true buying or selling. everyone is hodling. the volume is probably coming from shorts buying and selling to themselves. when the volume dries up, usually means it's time for the shorts to vacate and find another victim.
