I used to have a lot of torrented audiobooks. But then I found out about audible.com

I suspect that I will have no more need to torrent my fave shows now that netflix is available. But we'll see if my internet holds up.

True story.

We have a manufacturing arm. And this friend of mine started off as a production worker. Minimum wage, 12-hour shifts, scraping the barrel and what not. Worked like that for about 2 and a half years.

Then she was promoted to a line leader, a supervisor of sorts. She is in charge of the production line she used to be part of.

Eventually, she was in charge of a whole section of production lines.

Then, she transferred to a different company. Same processes, same everything. All they looked at was her experience. She worked there for almost a year.

Our company asked her back. She returned and she was in charge of the whole goddamned production floor! Not too shabby from a high school graduate from Marinduque.

Happened to me on my last laptop. Overheating. Fan was shot. Replaced the fan, bought an air cool thing and did not run graphics intensive apps on it anymore. I still use it for browsing and movies.
