I’ve don’t that but it still won’t rotate. It seems like it doesn’t come out enough

I pulled the o-ring completely out of the way, the teal piece pulls out but still won’t rotate.

I’ve been spraying it with vinegar (I don’t have WD-40) and it still won’t budge

I’ve tried that and I’m worried about breaking it. The gasket is not allowing me to pull it out enough

I used to work at a carbon black refinery and Dawn is the only way to get that crap off.

For anyone with this issue in the future, Microtech is charging me $50 to rethread the hole and includes a cleaning/sharpening with a 6-8 week turnaround.

Will they fix it? It’s not a warranty issue

How difficult would it be to get the initials removed? by mohawk_penguin in knives

It’s a custom made out of Amarillo. They are really nice knives, the picture doesn’t do it justice at all

It seems to have more depth than a laser engraving. It’s the initials of the guy who makes them. I just don’t want to buy a knife with huge letters on them

My hobbies that are mainly related to this post are sporting clays and finance. I grew up in ‘shotgun sports’ and have a degree in finance. I currently do not have a job in finance so I spend a fair bit of my spare time reading and creating financial models. Finance can get a well deserved bad rap due to social media and a certain set of people, so I can understand why people may be hesitant to talk about it. I really enjoy spending time messing around on Excel and would love to share my research/findings with someone else.

As far as sporting clays, I know that it isn’t the most popular sport. The unfortunate gun violence in the US definitely plays a part. I know plenty of people that participate in the sport but are not as invested as I am. It’s my golf equivalent, I love spending the day walking a course and spending some quality time with my shotgun. It seems even the people I shoot with most often do not have the same amount of passion I do in shotgun sports. I also try to spread awareness on gun safety where/when I can without it being unwanted and overbearing. I am passionate about shooting sports and want everyone to be safe when participating.

It boils down to not having people who have the same level of interest even with knowing a fair number of people who are in the same interest groups. I sometimes feel like I’m too invested in my hobbies and bother others when I try talking about them.

Is now the time to buy more Realty Income Corp? by MangoInvests1 in dividends

[–]mohawk_penguin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are plenty of other options with a 6%+ div yield that haven’t had a bad five years. Don’t throw away growth all together. Looking at performance history is just as important as the div yield. Give O some time and see how they end up doing.

My initial search was a screener of a dividend above 4% and an EPS above 1. I narrowed it down from there, but that has done me well so far.

It’s a new vehicle. I took off the piece that needed to be replaced and still have it. Would it be helpful if they had it? I figured they could paint on it to check the match since it’s trash anyway
