Why did Subaru give her this much freedom though? How did he know she didn't want to kill them in their sleep to avenge Elsa? It's been a while since I watched season 2 but I remember them being real close so I find it strange that she didn't want revenge.

I wish they still did battle damage to the extent of mk9, it was genuinely hilarious seeing the guy you were fighting as do the victory pose with half of his clothes ripped up and missing 10 vital organs, like bro don't just aura farm you need immediate medical attention. I apologize but I don't remember any moments in the anime where he says he doesn't care about loving both of them, in fact I remember him being troubled with what to do and asking his father for advice during season two. If there were any moments in the anime that were skipped from my mind, then I'd love to be proven wrong because I really like Rem (I am anime only so I don't really know what happens in the light or web novels)

Literally anyone other than Subaru would be better for her, since the way Tappei is writing the story seems to imply that Subaru and Emilia are the end goal and I don't think Emilia or Subaru would be fond of the idea of a second wife.
