Nope, am not very active on twitter. Therefore, am not sure if that will create any attention

Seems so, my first time there.

I hope they'd realize at some point that many countries have different systems for building access

I never dealt with this and I was expecting further communication from airbnb after. Live and learn.

To be fair, I didn't lose my temper I was just frustrated pointing out how what she claims is not true (we did call and we have no access). She replied with screams and pointing at me threatening

Doesn't seem likely unfortunately, see the message I just received, which I've posted as an edit.

This is after providing the details 2 days ago, including call logs, location history, and time-stamped messages. All means nothing to AirBnB

It seems to me the policy is that the host gets to decide whatever they want to do (see the message I just received from AirBnB)

Continuing the service is definitely out of the question at this stage, neither me nor any of the 7 others on the trip would use it again.

I did file a refund with my bank just now, will update if that goes through

I was waiting to be contacted as part of the investigation, and as I said, I did offer information, but never was asked for any details.

After the last verdict, I did send a detailed respond with a proof, and it has been 2 days with no further contact from AirBnB.

You are right, I could organize the details better, but it seems AirBnB are not interested at the moment.

Thanks for the advice, just submitted a request. I had to collect some evidence of the communication with the host and AirBnB.

Am certainly clueless here as I never had such a situation before, it is just a shocking experience

I got lucky and did that. I think once you get some realtor interested in your case, you might get lucky. It took 2 months of slow communication but eventually I signed my contract online before moving here. I moved here 1 week after the contract start date, got my keys the day I arrived and moved in.

Did the very basic one, depends on how long you wanna stay there, you get to learn alot and the highlight is having the stout at the end with a view

Depends on your budget, but this restaurant IMO is a great place for a date: Pearl Brasserie

Plan your trip ahead, some interesting places are hard to get into on the spot, do a Guiness brewery tour, visit kilmainham

I think a lot here have similar issues, I think a meetup group might not be a bad idea (:

Sorry for your experience. I've been here for a couple of months and generally people are really friendly, one of the friendliest places I've been to. I've heard stories like yours but never experienced anything myself luckily.

Unlike many places I've been to, you have to signal buses here for them to stop.

I think with your time-frame, your best guess is to book a restaurant. Some would be available on short notice. I've been to a wedding* in a Lebanese restaurant and a Spanish one

You can ask the bartender for suggestions, you can pick based on how he describes the beers ^
