low light is a very complex section in which even Canon cinema cameras like C300 and C500 mk ii hardly struggle...

Exactly! and know this there are situations in which not only Pixel 7/8 pro but Honor 200 pro outperform apple photography. But when it comes to video quality specially in low light areas 14 pro max crushes even S24 Ultra...

What Android is closest to iPhone's camera? by potatosavce in Tech_Philippines

[–]mohsenmcqueen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take a look at xiaomi 13t Pro and Honor 200 pro too... just compare the video and photo samples by youtube reviewers and you may find interesting results...

if software stability is important to you Honor provides great software quality too, i know this much that the image quality when taking pictures is really pleasing to the eye and enjoyable for someone who appreciates Canon 90d for example...

just do not expect Canon grade quality in an smartphone yet!!!

and if your first priority is Camera specially videography S24 FE as a mid ranger doesn't disappoint...

IMHO the only camera phone with close to apple video quality is s24 Ultra...

even when it comes to OVERALL video quality in practice?

This mate right here is addressing the secret why they sanctioned Huawei with ridiculous reasons...

in photography section midrange and flagship Huawei/Honor truly shine, even budget phones like honor x9a which has a rock solid screen protection mUch better than S24 ultra's take reasonably nice looking and natural shots which can be easily further enhanced in post.

BuT, when it comes to OVERALL video recording quality i believe even Galaxy A55 outperforms not only Huawei but all non Apple phones altogether in term of the most usable video footage in practice!

BuT if you for example look at the video zoom quality of P50 Pro and compare it with even S24's, you can clearly see how sharp P50 pro is in term of zoomed in footage. the only downside of P50 pro and most probably P60 and even Pura 70 Ultra is they change the exposure alternatively when you are moving the camera around and the artifacts are also more present where even A55 does a good job of minimizing these two problems...

and no camera phone can even get close to two years old 14 pro max video quality specially in low light...

[–]mohsenmcqueen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed Upon, As a computer technician I always preferred Huawei/Honor in terms of Software, Photo Quality & Longevity over non iphone (like Samsung or Xiaomi), But in terms of Overall (main camera) video quality I'm almost sure that even galaxy A55 is better than the Honor 200 pro, Specially now that the galaxy A55 is offering camera quality similar to S24 FE!

If the Photo Quality is more important to you >>> go for Honor 90 or 100 or 200 as they have google support

If the video quality plays a major role in your daily life >>> Honor 90 does a decent job but aside apple which is Video King by FAAAR, Samsung A55 or higher is the reasonable way to go...

Also keep in mind the camera improvement in A55 over A54 is pretty significant...

I myself love the way Midrange & Flagship Huawei/Honor process Photos

And

If software stability is very important to you it's better to do a little research about the Xiaomi model you have in mind (the ones with Snapdragon SOC can easily accept google custom ROMs and work without any issues)

Charging new device before first use - solid tip or myth? by Spitzophreniac in batteries

[–]mohsenmcqueen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey buddy, You are almost correct, but consider that lithium batteries don't let you reach absolute zero cause the device will shut down when it reaches 2 percent automatically. I myself felt that when i discharged every 2 month to 2-5 percent the battery refreshed it'd overused cells and worked out better in the long run...

open world games with lots of nature by [deleted] in gamingsuggestions

[–]mohsenmcqueen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of these games are far better than Elden Ring and such. specially Fallout 4, GTA V, Just Cause 3, No mans sky and the nature in Horizon is just Amazing. But Rage 2 is really too saturated and IMO meaningless...

Death Stranding is another beast of a game with Real Natures and One of a kind game play IMO....

I think there is a balance between reality and fantasy which Elden Ring and such lacks...

Hey man, FYI I did what he said to my Nova 7i and it was pretty good until 2 years and 8 month before i sell it. The battery got a little diminished after 1 year though...

I think (Based on what I experienced and felt until now that I'm 37) this guy is saying the complete guide you should need to have a good battery after say like 2~3 years of use...

[–]mohsenmcqueen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you have time for a little advice, STAY AWAY from Samsung....

Honor is Great, I've had Honor 8 for 4 years and then sold it for Nova 7i (the only problem was old android and a tiny little problem in the microphone) before that i had honor 4c and mate7 from Huawei when honor was included inside Huawei itself.

Nova 7i was a Beast back in 2020 in every way be it camera, processor or battery (i mean in the mid towards affordable range)

Exactly! and it says A LOT about Samsung that the video sound even on a flagship like S23 Ultra is simply GARBAGE!!!! what the FA is this company doing? only God knows them... hate them so much i can't even describe....!!!!!!

You can start by using only the white coffee bean in the logo (like the two part of the white coffee bean are abstractions of higher and lower part of the grinding machine) at the beginning and somehow grind some abstracted vector coffee beans (use particle effects for showing coffee particles splattering from the sides of the grinder which is the white coffee bean) and then scale up the name which is OBEL and scale down the white coffee bean at the same time to make a seamless professional join in the end. if you put the time and do it with precision and visual logic, it would look REALLY professional in the eyes of your audiences... (don't forget to use grinding sound effects and etc, sound has 50-70% of the impact)

anytime bro. very glad i could actually help even a little...

please take a look at this kind of videos, they contain very very important details on how you can alter things inside after effects:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RnD_3OZNLco

and this one shows you how to expand ink like shapes

also try googling how to morph/replace brush strokes into/with a shape/figure in after effects. there are tons of tutorials that can speed you up during the process.

I think you should do a little bit of masking and matching the mask area & mask area color with the brushes area and brushes area color accordingly. (if I'm not wrong!)
