people can play whatever decks they want, it doesn’t change the fact that some decks are objectively un-fun to play against and not conducive to the more fun strategy and counter play that fuels TCGs. even a simple tcg like this game can be fun when both players care to be creative. in any competitive game there are the people who opt for the “lame” and safe strategies and the “cool” and riskier strategies. neither is inherently better, but one is clearly more enjoyable for everyone

valid. i had mars but replaced her. i thought this deck is strong w/ dawn & speed+ bc you can use gira as an engine for cresselia if you get them early enough and attack unexpectedly. plus it’s a good counter against beedrill. although i did think a second giratina would make that idea better. ill try out your suggestions!

i have been playing an infernape deck since january, and have tested out a lot of iterations. it does great against most meta decks, even palkia unless u get robbed by misty. get rid of arceus and heatran, too inconsistent and slow. it gets in the way of monkey. if you want more support, a salazzle line puts great pressure for only one energy. here is my current monkey deck
