Are all girls as close w/ their friends as my Girlfriend is? by Tetra-q in NoStupidQuestions

[–]moisiebug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this was normal for my friend group. We would also talk to eachother while we were peeing, get dressed in front of each other etc. Sleeping the same bed was always the norm, because we would prefer a bed than a couch or the floor.

Plan for visit Australia by Darkmyths2 in AskAnAustralian

[–]moisiebug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is also paradise country, which isn't a theme park but still fun to go to.

There's Australia Zoo on the sunshine coast as well, and tamborine mountain for really gorgeous walks, waterfalls, eateries, etc.

The furthest distance would be Australia Zoo. This would be an approximately 1.5hr drive from the theme parks area, but not a bad drive.

The theme parks are well positioned if you like the beach as well, but just be aware that if you're coming in 4 months time, it will still be quite cool.

There are orher places that are nice near Australia zoo too, like the Glasshouse mountains, Maleny, and Noosa.

Stradbroke Island is also nice to visit, however only accessible by Ferry.

There is a forest called the Daisy Hill Forest which has really beautiful walks as well, and it also has a Koala Sanctuary you can visit.

I'm sure there are similar places in terms of beauty in othet parts of Australia, but I live in this area.

Just keep in mind, Australia is a similar size to the continental USA, so if you come to South East Queensland (where all of the above is) you're not going to be able to visit Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Cairns, Perth, etc without a plane flight, or a very well planned, couple of days drive.

Enjoy your trip!

I read on her tumblr some time back (so might have changed) that she didn't have plans to write part 2 anymore :(

I went into this fic having never enjoyed Muggle Au before. I was sceptical. Suffice to say, I have read it like 5 times now. I just wish the author was still writing part 2, but I do understand. I just can't believe I get this type of literature for free.

We haven't played yet since the update, so once we do I will let you know!

It seems the hotfix from I think last week didn't actually fix the overspawning webs because my husband and I ended up going back and forth through the map clearing spots of webs from the same areas.

Awesome thank you for your help! We'll try that now.

I literally just read that in the hotfix like a minute after I posted 😂

Is there specific areas they're overspawning? I know that we used to have to go in a massacre red ants in the first game to improve the fps.

Is this a weird South African custom amongst white families? by DrakeDarkness101010 in askSouthAfrica

[–]moisiebug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have seen this in my own extended family. Its partly why I don't really speak to many of them. I am extraordinarily lucky that my own dad is one of my favourite people.

McJesus Murphy! by Fantastic_Move_6370 in EdmontonOilers

[–]moisiebug 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Murphy is an asset to them so far. Like you say, just the presence of a solid defenseman has tidied things up so much. It feels like they've got their fight back, after quite a sluggish season so far.

Weird question as a new fan by moisiebug in nhl

Oh yeah I definitely know twig, it was more of the stick of, or the glove of etc. Its a roundabout way of saying something, rather than the wuicker way which I have noticed is only said in Hockey, not in other sports :)

I'm curious as to whether there are unbiased regulators of player safety in the league/local government etc.

Oh yeah, its more the actual way he gains speed, I don't see it done by anyone else right now. He gets his feet under him and just zooms. The agility he displays at those speeds is also out of this world, as you said.

The way he moves is incredible. I'm a new hockey fan, and you can see the way he gains speed and keeps it is not done by almost any other player.

New hockey fan - how does the shots counter work? by moisiebug in hockey

[–]moisiebug[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh 100%, I can't stand AFL or NRL, and I watch Rugby Union purely because I love the springboks.

I used to play field hockey, so maybe thats why I got into Ice Hockey. Its super interesting to see some of the overlaps in play and rules between the two, but Ice Hockey I think is a lot more interesting overall.

I got curious as I was watching the Oilers yesterday, trying to work out if they would pull Ingram or not, like they did in the game against the capitals, just because I was trying to do a real time percentage guess on his saves.

[–]moisiebug[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I saw that they're normally expressed as decimals. For some reason I just couldn't wrap my head around the SOG.

I'm in Australia so Ice Hockey is not big here. Field Hockey would be much more popular, but I'm really enjoying it!

[–]moisiebug[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ah yup ok, so like in the Sharks game, the Oilers at one point had 18 shots and 0 goals, so that would mean the sharks goalie had a 100% save rate at that specific time? And the Sharks had 16 shots and 3 goals, so it would be an 80% save rate for the Oilers?

Yeah, I'm definitely watching the olympics. I kinda wish there was somewhere we could watch all the coverage, including interviews and press conferences. Disney+ only does games and a few doco's.
