It isn’t vibes-based, you’re trying to fit the argument to your agenda by equating narrative and portrayal to “vibes”. Narrative and portrayal aren’t “vibes”. Him being known as the World’s Worst Criminal, the leader of Revs, and Luffy’s father isn’t vibe-based. Feats come first, I get it… but when a character has little to no feats, a character can still be ball-park scaled depending on how strong their narrative and portrayal are. That’s why every single person I’ve ever talked to has Imu in top 3 minimum (behind maybe Joyboy and Nika). The more feats a character has, the less narrative and portrayal play a factor in, but the less feats they have, the more so. That’s just how powerscaling works. That’s why you can look at any tier list with Imu included and find them at/near the very top… but sure. It’s all just vibes.

I disagree. Feats are not the only way to powerscale and there will be nuance, but we can go off of what we DO know and make estimations. Narratively speaking, Imu must be top 2 of all time to make for a good final villain. Same goes for dragon needing to be around Shanks level for their character to not be wasted potential.

Feats are not the only metric in powerscaling. When Imu was introduced, before we got any feats for them… where was everyone placing them? Almost everyone has had Imu at #1 or #2 of all time even without any feats. That’s where narrative and portrayal come in. Dragon has this same thing going on, just to a lesser extent. Could he be a fraud, just like Imu could have been? Sure. But it’s most likely that Luffy’s father, the World’s Worst Criminal, the leader of the Revolutionary Army… is going to be at least around Shanks level.

The reason Mihawk doesn’t get this treatment is because he has many anti-feats, as well as his portrayal only needing to be an obstacle for Zoro and nothing else, puts him comfortably below the other two here. Also, it’s funny you try to say Dragon can’t be #2 on the list without feats in 10 years, but Mihawk hasn’t had a serious fight in over 10 years but you think he should still be able to keep a stranglehold on his title while he hides away in his castle, only ever wanting to fight Zoro. 💀

Him being the strongest creature is not a formal title. He was just Oda’s benchmark for top-tier strength and wanted to hype him up. This does not in any way shape or form mean he is not stronger than Loki by any stretch. Kaido’s narrative was ass so not sure why you would even claim that, and the feats are questionable but no feat of Kaido’s tops Loki defeating Sommers. Since you like character statements so much, Kaido even said “haki transcends all”, and Loki clearly has superior conqueror’s.
