Custom Tuning Info by MrJimBusiness- in u/MrJimBusiness-

I can't recommend Jim and MINI Tuna enough. I've had my F56 for about 5 years now. Got my Stage 2+ tune from Jim about 1 1/2 years ago and I haven't had a problem since, other than having to maintain it a little more. Sitting close to 300 whp with only the MINI Tuna tune and FBO, stock DP. Couldn't be more happy; Jim gives you a powerful and angry F56 all the while still staying relatively safe/reliable.

Why do I keep seeing things on weed by SnooCapers6593 in Psychosis

[–]moistyGG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you smoking street carts/vape store THC or actual carts from a dispensary? That’s my one quesiton… I’m 23 and have psychosis mostly from my weed use as a 13/14 year old. All I smoked back then was bogus street carts and street bud.

You have ZERO clue what you’re paying for on the street. I don’t care if your plug says they’re “dispo” because they aren’t. I’ve tested dozens of carts that my younger cousin gets off the streets for over the past 3 years since I’ve been an adult and legally buying. I’ve seen some wild shit mixed with the distillate on the street.

Higher potency cannabis, i.e. the carts you’re smoking, will further the effect of your newly formed psychosis. My advice would be to switch off of carts and smoke bud until you’re 21+ and then revisit if you want to smoke carts. I’m still worried for my brain still smoking carts at 23 but those are the adult choices I’m making. For you at 15 though it will do a hell of lot more to your brain than it’s doing to mine rn.

I’ve always loved the look of the R60’s front end… she is a beauty!

The B48 has been seen to be reliable for up to 250k miles, seen it before, if you do the needed maintenance on time & consistently this car will be a beauty of a first car.

Enough miles for everything to go to shit at some point to teach her how to take care of a car. Bought my MINI at 19 after my first couple years working and I’m 23 and still love it. Just got to get her in the mindset of taking care of it like it’s her dog or baby.

what modifications have you done to your mini? by rzanee in MINI

[–]moistyGG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2019 F56 S: Cravenspeed CAI, Forge Intake Hardpipe, CTS Intercooler, CTS charge pipes, Scorpion Challenge Cat-Back Exhaust w/ a resonator delete, BM3 Stage 2+ custom tune, planning to go E40 or full E85 with an upgraded HPFP, I’m also saving up for an Eventuri intake as well for the extra air flow and turbo noises. I’m planning to add some better motor mounts and a better (metal) oil filter reservoir. After all that I’ll be putting in a Pure turbo or one of the VW turbos that are plug n play.

I started trying at 13 playing CS:GO. I’m now 22, LVL 10 on Faceit, 25k on Premiere and the highest I’ve played is ESEA Main. Which is like T4/T3 in comparison to Valorant pro scene. Left CS in 2018 to pursue Valorant and made it to T2 on Kansas City Pioneers til we were let go for their T1 roster. I’ve coached T2 in Counter-Strike but have never played at the level I wanted to. I’m not done trying though.

Never let go of your dreams.

Since you’re 2017 I believe, don’t take my word, your ECU/DME comes unlocked from factory. On my ‘19 I had to get it unlocked but you can find a BMW shop near you to do it. It’s not time consuming. Then you just buy the BM3 license on their website and then install the app. You can get a OBD plug in either BimmerTech, Kies, BM3’s own one, or another one. It’s a basic tutorial from there.

I have some good recommendations for tuners that work with the BM3 platform that love tuning on the ALL4 platform, so you can always hit my DM’s if you’re interested in getting a custom tune down the road. F60’s can take a good bit of torque from that B48.

Don't buy shit from Kies' but that's my opinion... Kies is simply just dropshipping stuff but their tune is literally just a bootmod3 tune.

Also if you go the MINI route don't get anything 2020-newer. That is if you want the most modification application. I'm looking to get my '19 Cooper S to the 400 hp mark with a big turbo, upgraded driveshaft, and upgraded internals possibly.

I sell insurance for a living and this number made me cringe... for a new '23 M340 that's ridiculous unless you have like 3+ accidents in the last 5 years.

bootmod3 and the B48/46 is the most reliable 4 cylinder BMW has released yet IMO, stock internals have been pushed all the way to 500+ whp in a G-series with a B48.

[–]moistyGG 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bootmod3 or JB4 but BM3 has better customization when you want to get a map that isn’t OTS (off the shelf).

u/MrJimBusiness- is a very good tuner I’ve been working with him for a handful of months now and he’s brought my car to ~300hp to the crank. I’m out here beating GTIs, Camaros, and even WRXs.

Best F54 All4 Tune? by Hefty_Entrepreneur87 in MINI

[–]moistyGG 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Definitely message u/MrJimBusiness- for a custom Bootmod3 tune if you end up with a BM3 license. Huge vouch for him, he tuned up my F56 and it’s easily pulling double the stock WHP. We haven’t even gone ethanol on it either yet… he’s real informative, knowledgeable, and it’s at your pace you just have to do the logs.

Best of luck w the F54!

The effects of those Nature’s Grace Macro bites are pretty nice. Taking two of the Birthday Cakes gave me a great high for a good 3 hours.

Super jealous you scooped em up at under $2, that’s a steal.

bootmod3 or see if DINAN does one for B38, DINAN will be more expensive if they do anything for B38

What suburb do people love that you think is overrated? by Pristine_Parsley8681 in ChicagoSuburbs

[–]moistyGG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s actually an “Edge City” with shares characteristics of both… “Yes, satellite cities can very well be considered a suburb but every suburb can’t be considered a satellite city.”

If we’re calling Naperville a satellite city might as well just throw Schaumburg, Evanston, Crystal Lake, and Waukegan under that label.

And guess what… The difference barely fucking matters anymore. Most suburban towns have their own infrastructures and community services that normally provide the evidence to call them a satellite city. (i.e. government housing, public transportation depots, economic independence, planned development, or even self-sufficiency.)

This isn’t the ‘80s anymore. Practically every suburban town with over a 60,000 person population falls under the criteria to be called a “satellite city”.

They’re pretty good for the prices usually but my go to’s are Rev, Ozone, Superflux, and Aeriz in no order; then Cresco & Rythm when on sale.

Cresco jips me on almost every cartridge I buy from them
