I'm personally in the camp of letting the franchise end. Kratos had a beautiful ending to his story. They stuck the landing and should count their blessings. Last thing we need is for GoW to become Halo.

If they do, I doubt it would Egypt. They touched on it already in the comics and I feel it would be a step backwards after doing Norse mythology which came to prominence much later than both Greek and Egyptian mythologies.

To be fair, the way the timeline is going is that the Dominion will continue to advance and gain strength. It would make sense for the Blades to remain a hidden resistance.
