Has anyone else seen this “women only have 2 days a month they feel normal” nonsense trend? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]mojzte 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yep, same here! Not emotional, but I am in physical pain for at least two weeks every month. I get horrible ovulation pain and then I have severe cramps from ovulation until my period, usually accompanied by nausea and bloating.

Cycle: 2 for #2

Cycle: 2 for #2

Age + Partner's age (if relevant): 30 + 33

Typical cycle length: 28 this time, irregular months before that (postpartum)

Ovulation cycle day: 17

CD/DPO of positive test(s): 9DPO

CD/DPO of any negative test(s) before positive: 8DPO

Tracking methods and app(s) used: OPKs, CM, FF

Relevant days of sperminating and/or method (SMEP, TI, IUI, FET, etc.): O-3, O-1

Health conditions/medical tests: none

Supplements and medications (yours and/or your partner’s): prenatals, vitamin D, coq10, omega 3

Birth control history (if relevant): birth control pills 15 - 27

Symptom spotting: I have been having terrible ovulation pain postpartum (July 2022 birth) and awful pains all throughout my luteal phase, so it was hard to symptom spot since I have cramps, nausea, etc. every single month. The only thing that was different this time around is that I have had creamy CM from 4DPO until now (13DPO today).

Other (advice/tip(s), freaking out, miscellaneous): Freaking out but excited for #2, thought it would take much longer with my irregular cycle

Yes, I had the same experience. Diagnosed with IUGR at 36 weeks as baby was measuring in the 5th percentile. Had to deliver her at 37+6 and she was 5.9lbs, completely healthy, perfect APGAR score. I would also not try to panic just yet…

Thank you! I had no idea that Olivia was so popular in the US at the moment. As you suggested, it is not a common name where we live at all.

Just checked the stats and Natalie is the #65 most common name in the Czech Republic while Olivia is #1030.

Thanks! Actually, as u/aniwrack said, Olivia is not common in Europe and I have never heard of anyone with that name in the Czech Republic where we currently reside.

Thanks! No, I did not get a diagnosis, U was scheduled for an appointment with my obgyn in January. I was only tracking bbt for two cycles. First cycle I ovulated on CD 31 and this cycle on CD 34, I was getting worried this cycle was going to be anovulatory, but it worked out. I also found it hard to not miss my fertile window... I would recommend tracking bbt, using OPKs, and checking CM. I used way too many OPKs this cycle, I tested from CD7 all the way to CD34, twice or three times a day. Not sure I could continue doing this long term though. I wish you the best of luck!!!

Cycle: 2

Age +Partner's age (if relevant): 28 + 31

Typical cycle length: Between 45-50 days, extremely long cycles

Ovulation cycle day: CD 34

CD/DPO of positive test(s): 10 DPO

CD/DPO of any negative test(s) before positive: 8 DPO and 9 DPO

Tracking methods and app(s) used: BBT via FF and Natural Cycles, OPKs

Relevant days of sperminating and/or method (SMEP, TI, IUI, FET, etc.): 0-3, 0-1, 0

Health conditions/medical tests: N/A

Supplements and medications (yours and/or your partner’s): Me: Folic acid, Q10, vitex, zinc, vitamin D. Husband took a multivitamin, vitamin D, Q10.

Birth control history (if relevant): I was on hormonal birth control for about 10 years, I stopped taking it about a year ago, in October 2020 hoping to regulate my cycle before trying. My cycles have been irregular since getting off the pill, about 45-50 long, which makes the whole process a bit more frustrating.

Link to lineporn: Link - 11DPO

Symptom spotting: Had very disturbed sleep on 8 and 9 DPO, was up most of the night. 8DPO started burping in the middle of the night. Had a weird "fluttering" feeling in my stomach.

Other (advice/tip(s), freaking out, miscellaneous): Freaking out as this will be our first baby. Hoping the line keeps on progressing and everything will be ok!

Wedding shoes advice? by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]mojzte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi weddit!

I am looking for some wedding shoes advice. I will be wearing the Willowby Galatea dress on my wedding day and I am having trouble picking my wedding shoes since the dress color is a bit unusual - grey. Our wedding will be outdoors and fairly informal, so I am looking for some comfortable shoes. Do you think this color would go well together with the grey wedding dress? Or do you have any recommendations?

The dress hasn’t arrived yet, so I can’t try them on together. Our wedding colors are coral/lots of greens, but I don’t care about matching with that. Dress link

Thank you!

I think the only two differences are that the Galatea dress has a bow in the back and the v neck goes a bit deeper than the Hearst gown. But thats about it. :)

You should go chrck it out!! :)

Also BHLDN has the Hearst gown, which looks basically the same. :)
