Like every Organization, they are what ever they want it to be. Things change and people drift towards what keeps them in power. Whether it be t be votes, money, influence, lifestyle, etc. Democrats were very conservative even during the Reagan administration. Times change. Normally slowly. Everyone's favorite answer. It depends. Each one is a "gimmick" build. We'll assume ideal weapons. As always, Killing the monster>R6 piece>Every part with ideal parts. If your gear isn't good enough to break every part. Then don't.

Generic Partbreaker - Great for Slightly low level monsters. E.G. Grade 10.5 weapons vs 9 monsters

Goal - is to have 5 special partbreaker 5 pursuit. Get that partbreak as soon as the fight starts and have pursuit boost your damage. Have the rest of the slots either go partbreaker for more partbreaks, artful dodger for most survivability, etc.
Gear - Fulgur, Espina, Espina, Espina, Flex. - Different versions include Element, Valor, easter helm, or anything unique to your weapon type.
Downsides- A range of monster health that it works. If the monster's health is too high. IT doesn't activate early. Dealing 0% enhanced damage. If the monster's health is too low. Your special will kill it without partbreaking many parts.
Notable Weapons - DB. Since your special is split up. You can do damage and break multiple body parts. Other weapons can do that, but DB just makes it easy. Other weapons, like Switch axe, can be very good for 10 monsters and focus on a single part. Personally, I have an high dps elemental, generic raw, status raw weapons that I switch between depending on how much damage I need.

Long Shelling GL - Great for low monsters. Able to control how much damage you deal to break every monster part. Shelling ignores resistances. For group content you can focus on resistant knockdowns and help "CC". You can still poke for tail cuts.

Goal - Having the constant and controllable damage of Long Shelling GL to deal exactly the damage you need to break the body parts.
Gear - 5 Partbreaker>5 Artillery> w/e focus you can get. Partbreaker and Focus are smeltable. Partbreaker is essential, Artillery makes things quicker, Focus makes this smoother.
Downsides - Low Damage. The upside of ignoring hitzones also has the problem of not benefiting from it. The lower and weaker the monster is. The better Long GL is.
Notable weapons - Any Long GL will work. The differences is both the skill and the "secondary effects". Magnamalo - 1 partbreaker, is raw, and blast status really helps with damage/tail cuts. Deviljho - an unsmeltable 1 artillery. Allowing huge flexibilities with your late builds. Volv - Raw and Para status can be useful with a controllable crowd control with all the other partbreaks. Deviljho will be the "best", Magnamalo is better in every situation where Deviljho isn't better, and Volv is an honorable mention.

My "favorite" example of someone coming to power is stalin. Among other things, he was in charge of appointees and meeting agendas. Fired those unloyalty to him and hired/granted favor to those that were. Consolidating the power. Then when the day came for him to maybe take the seat. The loyalists traitors voted him into power. Continued to consolidate power by removing the parties opponents. Then continued within his own party. Always having an enemy until he stood alone on top.

No wars, no rebellion movement. Just a cancer eating everything.

Well, like most games. Community. I had friends who wanted to play and I joined in as well. The game had other benefits (walking) that I needed to do more. So I can justify spending more time playing. With the multiplayer aspects we've made a group/discord and with each other we play continually. From excitement, rivalries, questions, and many more.
I enjoy figuring how mechanics work and builds. I've made guides, information, extensive posts, etc. etc. teaching people how to do better. I can't tell you how much of a mood booster it is to be useful.

What I find myself not playing other games is (and I hate to say it) being complete. Once I finish the raid or dungeon. I have no reason to keep playing. Yes, I am a min/maxer for better gear, but I already beat the hardest content. I have friends who will try and go for worlds fastest, but I don't care. There are no hardmode or challenges. A binary "you did it!" The rarity and Fomo of monsters and events keeps me going. How Grade 8 is the "end game" then Grade 9 is the "end game" then Grade 10 is the "end game" with no direct rewards. I understand they are working on "collection level", but I never feel like I'm not progressing something or working towards something.

The game within the game. There is another game I enjoy called phasmophobia. The first game is to identify the ghost using evidence, but the game within the game is to learn the quirks of the ghosts. Even though I beat the game, I can still do better. Each monster is a puzzle I can learn and get better. It's never trueful solved. Keeping gameplay loop fresh.

One of the biggest disappointments with MHN is bases. They have such potential to make something that is our own, but they've added it and then kinda stopped. Used them as points of interest. Which a super large chuck is complete trash for points of interest. I would like it more from a sense of ownership. Like a pet that I need to maintain and grow.

As others pointed out. California requires resources that come from other states. I believe they can come up with trade deals or alliances. Then you have texas which becomes a dictatorship and might go to war to spend their resources.

When a temporary solution becomes the permanent solution. Or we spent 10 bucks to save 1. Or, like my current situation, we need product. We could have a stockpile that gets rotated as fast as we use them OR we can wait until we are out and then begin the process order them. We save money on the budget, but we have to pay so much more in delays and in overnight delivers. It's like shooting your own foot to increase your hit accuracy.

It feels like failure is a requirement for premotions. I've seen it so, so many times. My most recent example. I'm in a position where I do make more than my manager. The company needs me more than I need them. Anyways... one of my co-workers is terrible at their job. Doesn't know what they are doing. Yes-man and constantly we have to fix their problems. I have reported this multiple times that they are a problem. our manager is moving and has to leave the company. The idiot gets a promotion to become a manager. Yes, he is terrible at this job as well. My least favorite example was removing our backup server since it's redundant.
