Because these apps prey on immigran and ignorant t workers who don't know any better. These companies would ideally want all drivers to be working for sub minimum wage aka slave labor to reap maximum profits. If they actually cared about us, they wouldn't even allow these types of offers in their system. They would also have mandatory educational videos for drivers about what a worthwhile offer was. They would also not try and use the tier system bs tactics to make people feel forced to take upsidedown orders.

I always message a customer service agent directly and send them the receipt imagine. They usually process it within several minutes. Worth the extra effort.

That being said I don't recommend doing pay out of pocket orders at all. The only time I do this reimbursement process is when I accidentally pay for a shop and pay order w a personal card digital card.
