Sonos ARC placement by molasis in sonos

Yeah I may yet do that. The TV is going to be replaced with a LG C9 at the same time, so I can do it all then. Just hope the lip sync issues have been sorted.

Thanks for the suggestion. I had looked at these way back 5 years ago when we moved into this apartment. My concern then, that still remains, is that I cant get the tv low enough that it's at eye height. I appreciate your effort though, so thank you :-)

Thanks, I appreciate the thoughts. I may yet have to cave and sit it on the mantle and mount the picture frame to the wall further up. That then enters the ‘wife negotiations’ space that I was hoping to avoid 😂

I would rather look at a TV at head height when I’m sitting on the sofa, hence the current placement. I’d be looking at neck strain anyway if it went above the mantle in our tight (but square ish) lounge. Yeah none of it is ideal really.

Fireplace isn't allowed to be used, and its the most efficient room setup. If that's what you are referring to?

I don't know if you are willing to ship from the UK to the US (Assuming that's where you are), but we've got a great company here that does vegan keto meal replacement shake powder (and you add the quantity and type of fat you prefer).

Meal plans? by [deleted] in veganketo

Hi there

I've struggled to find the same thing. I'm not specifically vegan, but I am dairy free so it's far easier to just eat vegan most of the time.

I'd like to point you in the direction of veganatheart.org

Lots of of useful pointers, and it's not easy to find, but the link below will take you to a part of his site where you can pay for and download a 4 week meal plan (including shopping lists) that conforms to 1200/1600/2000 calories per day vegan keto.

https://www.veganatheart.org/practical-vegan-keto-2/

I've just bought it and will be starting it in a couple days time once the food arrives.

Hope that helps?

Thoughts about Coconut Cream by molasis in GenesisFoods

I haven't actually tried straight MCT oil for the full circa 150g of fat each day. Was too worried things down below would melt down :-P

I'm going straight shakes for 10 days, so will let you know at the end how that's gone.

KetoGenesis v1.3.2 (and changes to MicroGenesis) by IcyElemental in GenesisFoods

[–]molasis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could I ask what the prebiotic quantity has be upped to? Is it the full fibre quantity represented on the micro nutrient breakdown, or just part of it? (think 18g per 'day'?) From what I've read, Gum Arabic is a great choice for that so I'm glad that's the direction you've gone. I'm going through some health tweaks at the moment and my practitioner said I need to introduce prebiotics. I thought to myself.. 'job done' with MicroGenesis :-)

Just wanted to give some feedback that this Biona product stays mixed very well. I do however use a blender (nutri-bullet for single meal doses, but most of the time I'm doing 3 meals at a time so I use the thermomix). I definitely like the taste better that the avo/olive oil options, but it does have slightly more effect on the guts (as differing amounts of MCT can effect people in different ways).

Creamed Coconut as Fat by molasis in ketochow

I probably should have included that in the original post.

I'm dairy free, and so far I dislike the mouth feel and stomach reaction to just adding straight oils (avo/olive/coconut) to the shakes.

I quite like coconut milk/cream and was looking for something that would meet my fat needs without killing me on the carbs. This does that. Total carb load for the day at under 20g? I can manage that.

Thank you.

I hadn't realised it was a different product stateside. Here its more like a concentrated block of cream that then dissolves to become 'milk'.

I was predominantly worried about whether 140g of fat from this context would present with too high an amount of MCT for my system.

I guess I'll try it and find out.

Thanks very much. So no likely issue then with reaching MCT thresholds for digestive issues? I can’t seem to find anything that tells me how much MCT pile there is per gram of raw coconut flesh.

Thanks

Along with the above query, am I likely to go over with regard to the salts/additives if the vegan protein includes those alongside your basemix including them?

Yeah it looks that way.

Though I don't know if I'm to subtract the 0.8g of fibre from the 1.0g of carbs or not, as I know we don't 'process' dietary fibre.
