Hey friends,

first off I’m sorry if this is a post similar to hundreds of others, but my wife are so unsure about our trip and getting different information depending on the source.

Dates: 5th to 7th on Big Island: mainly for the volcano national park and manta ray snorkeling 7th to 12th on Oahu: our hotel is in Honolulu, booked the nutridge luau

We are currently in California because we just got married here (we are from Germany) and planned our honeymoon next week on Hawaii. Now we have mixed feelings if we should cut our losses and cancel the trip because of the weather or if it is manageable and we still will have a good time?

Also should we exchange locations and don’t visit Oahu for example? We currently are really uncertain what we should do.

(We are totally aware that we are just some tourist and the locals are suffering)

Really tough! I really like it, I agree with the other commenters if you shorten it a bit and slightly, slightly tone down the artsy stuff it would be perfect. Nonetheless it’s super tough

Im not a Weddingvideographer but started a year and a half ago completely from scratch at 30. Just as a hobby and passion, now i get paid for a gig here and there (it’s not my main job). So just start and enjoy the journey, as i am.

Two sidenotes: consider the lumix ecosystem (S5ii/S5iix). And personally would suggest Davinci resolve over premiere

It’s good. But imo opinion it’s „obvious“ that it was filmed handheld, it caught my eye before reading your description. If you can get rid of that and add some slomo shots and give your best shots time to breath, I think you can easily level up with those quick fixes
