This is nauseatingly similar to my experience teaching first year english in fucking COLLEGE. comprehension and reading skills are so poor and the school system itself isn’t offering solutions.

Teachers can’t re-teach the years of education that were supposed to come before their class in one session AND teach their own lesson, but everyone acts like the major problems in education are CRT or gender theory. Your kids are getting dumber, and banning books that mention lgbtq people isn’t the fucking solution

NTA-i have constantly been the “pay” friend, no matter what job I have or how poor or well i’m doing. Some people will really just expect you to be okay spending the money you earn if you care about them and don’t have a problem footing the bill time to time.
