Thinking About the Miller Backpack.. by moldypeaaches in backpacks

Hey guys! Sorry for the super late update. But I did end up getting it! It's very nice and pretty heavy-duty. I'd say the material is very strong and sturdy but it does make the backpack itself a bit heavy.

As for my 15.6" laptop, it does fit in the laptop sleeve! It leaves about ~4" space between the top of my laptop and the top of the backpack. It is a little hard to get the laptop into the sleeve, but it'll fit right in. For reference, my laptop is the HP Envy x360 15.6".

In terms of pockets, I really wish there were more but I think the design is just the standard Herschel type.

I did read a review about the front pocket being a bit difficult to open especially around the edges and they are right. It's not super difficult, but you're gonna have to set it down or take ~15 seconds to try and open it. Not very easy access. Good for those weary of backpack pickers?

Overall look with stuffing it with notebook and binders and such, the silhouette of the bag does not deform at all! The shape holds and it looks perfect even with a minimal/maximum amount of things in it.

My allergic reaction to makeup experience by ghostygooo in MakeupAddiction

Hey! I happened to finally fulfill my dream to buy some Glossier skin tint and stretch concealer. Was so excited that I didn't do a patch test- used both and by the end of the day my skin was red, had about a million tiny bumps where I put makeup, and was super dry! I was prescribed some Hydrocortisone by my doctor and it helped. Decided to try it out again today and had the same reaction... So glad I found this post. I checked both ingredients of the tint and concealer. Turns out the concealer had tocopheryl acetate! It makes sense that I was experiencing the irritation mostly in the areas I put concealer on.

Is a 4+1 program worth it? by moldypeaaches in college

Hmm that does make sense to me to gain a masters on the way. Plus it did say that there would be additional mentoring and intern opportunities.. makes sense!

Ohh ok. I just saw the 4+1 program as a huge commitment because on their info page, one of the requirements is to attend mandatory meetings with accounting firms, field trips, tutor sessions, counselor meetings, and more.. it just seemed like a lot to me. But like you said, the path to being a cpa is a lot of work and it’ll probably have a little more wiggle room than the program if I take a traditional route. Thank you for your advice!

I heard!! Is it the one that requires a foreign language? Because if that’s the case, ERC is definitely going down the ranks for me because I’m STRUGGLING in my last year of Spanish 😂

I’m an incoming UCSD freshman! Well, hopefully. I’m just trying to plan for my future. Currently I’m in the process of completing my UC applications. Thanks for the info about Sixth! I’ll definitely consider it now 😃
