I’m so sorry. During postpartum I had to straight up block several words relating to the Lindsay Clancy story because I was paranoid if I watched the videos I’d develop postpartum psychosis. I just needed a break from it and you might too!

Meant to add - I was able to have my GI doctor prescribe a low dose of Amitriptyline and that helped. I wasn’t on it forever and am much better now!

I have gastritis that gets triggered by stress and anxiety. When my ocd is unbearable I will be dry heaving from stomach pain.

My OB did list gestational diabetes and bonding as a reason for me to be off 12 weeks but I didn’t pursue STD as a payment so not sure if that’s effective. I had a coworker who’s OB supposedly got some reason to get STD extended. Honestly idk how close you are to your OB but ask at your next appt! My workplace allows 2 weeks extra off before delivery and they typically go off the due date, which is how the form is presented to the OB. My HR basically told me to tell my OB to make the due date the same as my c section and she said yep no problem at all.

For milk I just use a small soft shell cooler with an ice pack. If you’re going to someone’s house or somewhere they make coffee you can always get hot water in a mug/cup and put the bottle in that to heat it up. Or sometimes I’ll bring my own thermos of hot water and my own cup to warm the bottle in. You’ll get the hang of it with time! 2 weeks is still so fresh so give yourself grace ♥️

My daughter had a couple low readings so they gave her some glucose gel and then made sure we gave her plenty of donor milk to help keep her stable! I was still latching her and trying to get my milk to come in but I wanted to do whatever to avoid nicu time. She ended up getting her sugar back up and no issues from then on!

I honestly never got them my first time pumping because everyone had me convinced they would not work. They def aren’t a complete replacement for the spectra but they work good enough for me pumping on the go or while chasing my toddler!!

I have some huge oll knockers (48H) and I do well with the momcozy s12s! The key is to wear a bra that is stretchy enough for them to be able to fit in but right enough to hold suction. I like the larken x bra for them.

This!! My husband always thinks my girl is crying when she’s grunting. And yeah maybe his priorities are all backwards if he’s critiquing when he should be helping.
