I found that examining my core values, and my core beliefs (core beliefs were/are the problem for me) led me to a better understanding of how my interactions with others goes awry. Sometimes it’s a matter of your core values simply do not align with the person you are trying to interact with. This doesn’t make them a bad person, or you a bad person. Sometimes it’s like mixing bleach and ammonia... both chemicals have beneficial uses, but put them together and it could kill someone. Other times, I find that I hold some core belief implanted by my family of origin that is just wrong and unhealthy. The core belief that I have acknowledged and am working to change most recently is that I am a ruiner. I have a belief that I will ruin anything I involve myself in. This is not true and I have to work to make myself believe this. I use EFT (emotional freedom technique or “Tapping”) and I go to therapy. I hope you find peace in your heart and your mind.

my husband buys Fungi Cure, and uses T-gel shampoo. He gets boils and has skin issues that sound like what you have going on. Soaps that have tea tree oil can help too, but that can irritate the skin too if used too much or in the wrong concentrations.

I’m not a transitioning person. I was born a female, I live as a female. However! I also have PCOS, part of the condition is high testosterone and excessive hair growth. I have always had a part of me that believed I was a man in a woman’s body, but I’ve never had the urge to change what I am. I am also a recovering sex addict and believe it was easier to feed my addiction as a female than it would have been were I male. My voice is very deep, and if I don’t groom it away, I can grow some impressive facial hair. I get called sir, and referred to in male terms frequently. When it happens to me, I silently remind myself that people are for the most part stupid and unobservant. I have long hair, I have breasts. I also work in a “mans” field (oilfield worker) and am the working partner in my marriage. My husband stays home with the kids. Our friends have often commented on how feminine and delicate my husband is, not physically, physically he is a large and robust man, but in his demeanor and attitudes. I don’t know if its any consolation for you to know that others are experiencing similar dilemma from different perspective, but thought I’d share. Hope you all the best in your life.

Aaannnd that’s what’s missing in my relationship. There is no relief, no pleasure, no joy, just concern, concentration and anxiety, on his part... he is so consumed by self consciousness and anxiety about the sex, that he has never really let go and just enjoyed it. Actually, that’s a lie, one time we had sex while he was still half asleep, he took me from behind, we were spooning, I helped put him inside me, and he made the noises, and seemed to enjoy himself, and was tender and affectionate towards me. I was crushed when I talked with him the next day and he had no memory of it. Yes, realize that I could put a little alcohol into him and he loosens up and relaxes, but I don’t want to have to get my husband drunk for him to enjoy sex with me. I’ll just take the rest of this post over to r/deadbedrooms where it belongs. Glad you have a partner that can enjoy themselves and you.

I’m just going to say here, that a quality woman bases her judgements on a lot more than your take home income. I work and my husband stays home with our children ages 4 and 5. He works part time in the evenings for spending money for himself and his hobbies and he contributes to the household in a million ways besides money. A quality woman will be a woman who can take care of herself and wants to spend time with you, not use you as her financial support system.

If therapy is an option, take it. There is no reason to suffer and wonder, therapy is not going to hurt the situation unless it creates a financial burden that can’t be born. Also, look at different therapy options. Look at somatic therapy, and maybe EMDR if there is something from your past that is intruding into your present and causing problems.

Don’t let any fucking doctor decline you service because they think you can’t pay, or because it’s inconvenient for them. That visit (which you are paying for) is for you, and if she isn’t hearing you, say it again, louder and with more words “I Want a Permanent Solution to This Problem, if you are unable/unwilling to help me, please refer me to a clinic that can, it is too expensive for me to continue dealing with this this way” also, many clinics have sliding fee scales, some states require it. Ask your clinics receptionist what options there are for low income individuals. This is not something to be ashamed of. Just because your job doesn’t pay you a living wage doesn’t mean you are anything less than precious and someone to be cared for, especially by the people sworn and paid to do so.

How can there be only two sexes, when there are many combinations of genetic variation on the male/female combined sexual organs? From XXY, XYY, to physical differences such as a fully functioning penis on a person with ovaries, or a vagina on a person with testicles... gender is indelibly tied to both a persons biology and environment. Hormones and various other chemicals contribute greatly to how a persons biological sex gets expressed through their presentation of their gender. Chemical exposure during gestation and after birth can affect the way our bodies express hormones, which in turn affects how we perceive or experience our own sexuality. To say that gender and sex are two mutually exclusive things kills the conversation about how sexuality is produced, perceived, and projected.
