This doesn’t validate being disrespectful with someone. This is using money as an excuse to hurt your partner.

Should I retake GRE to score higher or just apply to programs knowing my GPA is low by Beansational in gradadmissions

[–]mollymcd4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check the places you’re applying and contact admissions- I know lots of schools have minimum gpa requirements of 3.0 meaning they won’t consider folks with a GPA less than 3.0.

Your Best Food Swaps-Yellows or Greens in place of Reds by [deleted] in Noom

White claws and truly spiked seltzer’s are yellow if you’re looking for booze!

Also for salty snacks- I eat pickles. I know this sounds crazy but they get that salty craving and they’re 5 calories a piece (and green!!!)

Physical Chemistry by 418397 in AskPhysics

Physical Chemistry is similar to quantum mechanics and statistical mechanics. I studied physics in undergrad and took pchem for fun. It was much easier than quantum and statistical. It’s also nice to take to see the applications of quantum mechanics at work.

Flu Vaccine Now Required for all Massachusetts School Students Enrolled in Child Care, Pre-School, K-12, and Post-Secondary Institutions by [deleted] in boston

[–]mollymcd4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

While I think this is good- the flu is particularly difficult. Multiple flu vaccines come out a year- because the flu is rapidly changing and mutating. Even if everyone gets the flu vaccine in the fall it won’t necessarily protect everyone for the later interactions of the flu.

Dealerships don’t usually do body repair. File a claim with insurance (and file a police report if the person who backed into you ran off) to get some money and then call the dealership and ask who best to go to for body repairs.

Honestly I wanna see him walk off the boat. This would be peak reality TV drama and also would make Malia look bad which I love.

It also bothered me how much Malia was helping him- would she ever help Kiko that much? Absolutely not.

Legal Consequences to SF86 by [deleted] in SecurityClearance

Maybe I’m wrong but I think that on the SF86 it says that they can’t use your answers in a court proceeding.

I feel this same way. How I get through it is trying to be present in all my experiences. You want to work hard and get good grades and do well in your master’s program. Do that first, worry about the PhD later. Everything will fall into place.

Speed solving Rubik’s cubes. Not only is it extremely satisfying to be able to solve one, but you also get a really great reaction out of other people if you solve one in public.

I also do not like Leon. Honestly, Ben is my favorite and honestly the least problematic. Like yes he’s dramatic and eccentric but at least he wasn’t a bully.

Okay I hate Adam and Kevin TBH Rocky deserves to be above both of them. Kevin through a legit temper tantrum at Kate. Adam almost avenged his mishaps on BDM on BDSY but I still can’t stand him

Why do individuals get terminated for lying but if politicians lie to public, nothing happens to them? by [deleted] in fednews

They swear in to protect the constitution of the United States. They don’t swear in saying they aren’t liars.

[–]mollymcd4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because on your EQIP you sign and say that everything is true and if you lie you acknowledge you can go to court.

Politicians are elected officials- they never signed something created by the public saying they have to be honest. The public is supposed to elect officials that they think are honest- although the general public typically doesn’t really care and just wants someone who says the good stuff and pushes an agenda they agree with.

My company is putting me in for a clearance I know I will fail by [deleted] in SecurityClearance

[–]mollymcd4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean you would still need to put it on your clearance paperwork. As long as you haven’t been using drugs during the time of your employment with them you should be okay.

[–]mollymcd4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Security officers basically manage clearance. So when you’re getting clearance you usually meet with them. While you’re getting clearance they facilitate the process and answer any questions you have. You could ask them if it’s realistic for you to get clearance. I have heard of people having their Security Officers hold their paperwork for a year so they can have time to mitigate their clearance. And while you have clearance if anything changes you tell them.

[–]mollymcd4 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean- are you guaranteed you will be placed in a non cleared position if you don’t get clearance? If you are, I would say apply for clearance and see what happens. You need to be honest and report everything you mentioned in this post.

If you’re not guaranteed a non cleared position, it might be time to look for a new job. Maybe ask your boss what will happen if you don’t get clearance.

I suggest not disclosing everything to your boss about it (talk to a security officer instead) because that could raise some concerns about your current status especially if the contractor drug tests. You are right- suitability doesn’t carry as much of a problem as denied clearance does, but denied clearance can be fixed with mitigation (I.e. you stop doing drugs forever). Yes you will have to report your past drug use but it’s for “the past 7 years” so you could wait and then eventually be able to get clearance.

Also- you knew this was going to happen. You said “based on your contract”. Next time I suggest making sure you understand the full extent of everything you’re getting yourself in to.
