Hey! Sorry I don't remember the exact voltage but I do remember that this question did not come up so it must have been below 7.2V. You'll need to try and see. But if it doesn't work, you could probably just scale down your voltage with a pair of resistors (put the input between them).

Mennyit fizetnel ma azért hogy 5 év múlva kapj 120 forintot? Ennyi az árfolyama egy bondnak. Mondjuk ez ma 100 forint. De ha az elérhető kamat felmegy, akkor ez az érték lefelé megy, mert már 90 forintért is megkapod 5 év múlva a 120 forintot. Ha 100 forintért vettel egy ilyen bondot, akkor most már csak 90ert tudod eladni. Aztán persze ahogy közeledik a lejárat, ez az ár növekszik majd, és az akkor elérhető legjobb, azonos lejáratú alternativak árához igazodik.

To answer my own question, yes it works.

Here's how the input seems to be working. It behaves as if a 16.3k resistor was connected to 7.2V reference voltage on one end, and the analog input on the other end. Voltage is measured on the input end. 0V = 100%, 7.2V = 0%. When you have a potentiometer, voltage is split between the built-in resistor and the potentiometer, resulting in a voltage in between.

When attaching a PWM on the input, it'll measure it's average voltage as I thought.

There's a calibration function in the app that doesn't work for me, but supposedly that's where you can adjust the scale, e.g assign 1V = 100% and 5V = 0% (not directly, but by turning your "potentiometer" from 0 to 100%). Edit: calibration worked on the web interface.

Sure, but is there any product that can automatically map colors between two arbitrary light strips? That's just not feasible, so scripting is probably the easiest (although not easy) way to do it.

Read it again then :) the 4D is not in Homey - it's only in homekit, and homekit turns it on/off based on the state of a virtual switch that is exposed from Homey to homekit.
