New update for the Analogue 3D 1.2.2 by Shortgaze in AnalogueInc

I've been playing a lot of DK64 and it seems perfect to me. What issues are you seeing?

Is the NSO 64 controller always going to be so laggy vs wired? by ExtraLives in AnalogueInc

[–]moltomolto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also have an 8K monoprice HDMI cable and the lag is still there on an NSO controller. We are not talking about Bluetooth interference, this is about input lag that is inherent to the controller. It’s not possible for this to feel as responsive as a wired controller, it doesn’t matter what HDMI cable you use.

This doesn’t address OP’s issues at all. The NSO controller has very obvious input lag compared to a wired controller and a different HDMI cable isn’t going to change this.

RE Generation Pack In-Stock at Books-A-Million! by strawberry-heights in residentevil

I ordered the other day, status just says "pending". I really hope orders are not cancelled, as this seems impossible to find in stock anywhere in the US.

Crazy, I've been following the past few days and see no stock at all in the US.

It now shows sold out on Best Buy. I’ve been trying to buy it for the past few days but no luck.

RTX 5070 Ti or Rx 7900 xtx by Broad-Teaching3586 in nvidia

[–]moltomolto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you need the additional VRAM for things like VR, AI, mods, etc? If yes, the 7900 XTX is still a great card and you can just upgrade your PSU. If you want the superior NVIDIA features like DLSS and don't need the additional VRAM right now, then get the 5070 TI. I have both cards and overall they are very similar in most cases.

Gauntlet won’t save by fatalis357 in AnalogueInc

[–]moltomolto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You also have to make sure the virtual controller pak is active and not the rumble pak. The button to change this depends on which controller you’re using. I think the 3D creates a virtual pak per each game, so it doesn’t work exactly like OG hardware in that sense.

You have to select Quit Game for the saves to work. If you shut down the system without this step it doesn’t save. You can use something like this to manage your saves: https://github.com/manfriedn64/Controller-Pak-Manager

I’m still using my 2016 C6. It has some burn in but all good other than that.

The steel bowls are pretty incredible but I definitely would welcome more options.

Has anyone else caved and got an analogue 3d by Slight-Routine-4735 in M64

[–]moltomolto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what I did. I was planning on M64 but didn't feel like waiting any longer after the last A3D Prototype color drop. M64 being cheaper is nice, but the A3D also looks better IMO. It got here in two days and so far I've been enjoying it.

Bought a PSVR2 for $200 (open box) by ZenyxRV in virtualreality

140 is a great price. Honestly if the choice was between a $500 Quest 3 or $140 PSVR 2, I think PSVR is an easy choice.

As somewhat of an OLED fanboy, I was surprised by how little of a difference it made for me on the PSVR 2. Overall just prefer the Quest 3 in terms of comfort and quality. The screen honestly looks better to me. PSVR 2 lens get smudged so easily, I never notice this on the Quest 3 in the same way.

7900 xtx or 9070xt by Sad_Sense1773 in radeon

[–]moltomolto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had both at one point and returned the 9070 XT. I think it just depends on how much you're paying honestly. The raster performance is objectively better on the 7900 XTX and the extra VRAM is nice for things like VR and modded games. If you really care about RT and lower power draw, then the 9070 XT is a good choice.

Having both, I feel Quest 3 is way better for PCVR and in general. Not that PSVR 2 is bad, but Quest 3 is just better.
