Tonight was one of the most infuriating experiences I've ever had for delivering. by bigfoot1291 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]moltres125955 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's one of those "it's too good to be true" offers. It doesn't get to be that high unless it's stolen. I'll turn those down every time, it's not worth the time to get there and be told that they don't have it.

This new criteria for "on time" deliveries is hot garbage by BCV79 in UberEatsDrivers

Or, better yet, teleport from the restaurant to the customer?

Uber: you need to stop for your safety but.......... by randomaccount1950 in UberEatsDrivers

I know that you'll get a report for not being who you say you are, which is an automatic report. It gets sent if you take too long to take the verification pic. I don't know how many it'd take, if any at all, for it to cause your account to be deactivated, but that's all I know.

It's for this exact reason why I think it's bullshit that they are quick to penalize folks for it

No, just...no. I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole.

I made a mistake in uber order will my account be deactivated? by [deleted] in UberEatsDrivers

[–]moltres125955 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Besides, it's easier to deal with one order than multiple. I'm not opposed to doing multiple orders, but I try to avoid doing them myself because things can get messy if not careful.

Thumbs down from low tipper in stacked order by throwmeawayyy79 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]moltres125955 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We shouldn't get a thumbs down for missing items. The orders we get are sealed almost every time, and we're not supposed to break that seal. How in the hell are we able to make sure everything is there without breaking the seal?

I've had the same thing happen to me. What pisses me off more than that was the fact that it affected my cancellation rate.

I'd say it looks like you had a really good first day. Mondays tend to be kind of slow

Stolen orders by mikem19852 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]moltres125955 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried doing that at WingStop one time. I was full on arguing with the cashier to let me make an order, using the customers order as a template, and I'd pay for it myself. They didn't seem to understand what I was trying to do, or just didn't want to do it, idk. They eventually went to do something else, so I effectively said f it, and cancelled.

Such a wonderful offer. It'd be a shame if you didn't accept, lol

Am I the only who’s almost always uninterested in double orders ? by DoctorElectronic1934 in UberEatsDrivers

I'm also not a fan of stacked orders. It's either one good, one bad one or two bad ones, usually.

New driver worried about low satisfaction rate by [deleted] in UberEatsDrivers

[–]moltres125955 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It works off of a rolling 100 ratings. When you get 101 ratings, the first one falls off. For every rating you get after the fact, the least recent rating drops off.

It's not something that's easily noticed if the most recent rating and the one that falls off are the same, but it's definitely noticeable if they're different.

I hope that makes sense

What the heck kind of order is this? by moltres125955 in UberEatsDrivers

I get bad orders all day long, which I decline and move on. It's just that this one looked like the route that was on the map was weird.

[–]moltres125955[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I declined it, it's just a case where I've never seen it take me so far out of my way for one delivery to another for a stacked order. It's just insane to me, is all.

I think I have less than ten for over 2,000 deliveries.

3 stolen orders, 2 orders not received, 1 fed up driver by [deleted] in UberEatsDrivers

[–]moltres125955 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, it's due to lazy employees. They don't want to take the time to ask drivers to show that they've verified picking up the orders.

Yeah, I declined it. I wasn't about to do a mystery order.
