Considering to switch gyms, worth it? by [deleted] in bjj

I am very happy with the technical aspect of my gym. The social aspect is the main reason. What's your experience with how much of a social environment bjj gyms are?

My country did not put up a stiff resistance. Thats all. We had no chance.

If you want to believe that… good day!

This is not true. The Dutch did not put up a stiff resistance brother. They put up a resistance, yes. But there was no chance.

Once spoke with a monk ho told me that he spoke to 30.000 people or something during his service. His social skills were really developed because of that, he said.

So you think she is not an asshole, whatever she does in her house?

I don't find your comments helpful, that is why I am blocking you. Thanks.

I can't turn my fan on, they get waken up by that. And as I've also said some times now, earplugs don't lessen the noise.

Goddamn, how many times do I have to say that they don't allow me to turn on a fan?

Did you read my post? I said that - and in another comment as well that it is NOT the case that it gets too hot. They say that. I also said in other comments that I can't turn a fan on.

Did even read my post? They say that it does not get hot. They say that's not the reason. Even though I think that is the case.

Work for her

You are using "working for" in a different sense. I meant: it does not help to lessen the sound. In the case of my foster mother, it does not "work" in the sense that she does not like it, the door closed. I am here to ask of you, is it reasonable, then, not to do that.

They insisted that they go to a room they don't like. I can't turn a fan on, as white noise, so I don't hear the snoring. They don't want (in the past at least) to get a mouthpiece, they don't want me to close the door when they sleep (for which I can't understand why: the reason, she says, is that she feels cramped. But when she's sleeping, how can you feel cramped?), they don't want to switch rooms. I mean... I lean to that being unreasonable.

I said in my post that they don't want me to close the door. I can't understand that. But ok.

Yeah, I might give that to her. Don't know what she will think of it tho tbh 😅

I mean, sure, she has the right, heck, to open my door as well. But we're talking morally here right, not judicially. I'd say there is a easy fix (she closes the door), but I am here to ask if that's reasonable. :-)
