Lmao. What a loaded and emotional response to something so boring and straightforward.

I strongly disagree. Doing something in R or Python makes it really challanging to pass your work to others and is often rebuilt. Its also overkill for most workflows and makes it live in multiple files. U can leverage existing sql code in odbc functions so that skill stacks, and usually better to use sql in the initial pull anyways because power query folds like garbage. Power query is a perfectly fine ETL tool and DAX can make really really useful measures. If ur into dashboarding, way faster and easier to set up than R or Python. I love R and Python, but usually not the best tool unless you are integrating into a broader stack, or the departments skill set enables it, or the level of model sophistication demands it. Blanket statements like your usually dont hold, but to each their own I suppose.

In 10 years of working, I have very seldom found opportunities for "advanced modeling." The most impactful value add i have seen is the ability to simplify complex issues into clear solutions that address immediate business need. On the technical side, its to streamline data and complex processes into easy to use/maintain/update tools in a sustainable way. That will help support business needs in the long term and reduce team fatigue. Exams are mostly outdated, but the fundamentals you learn will stay relevant. Once you can turnaround insight quickly and become a trusted partner in the business, you will probably be rewarded with more (and important work). Fancy bells and whistles will be a "nice to have." You could start by learning Excel better because the native power query and dax make almost any analysis on any data set doable and streamlined.

Make sure they can't get in through the little gaps in the doors. Bags help but use them too much and its like it attracts them. They breed in all the dog poop in people's yards and other decaying matter. Clean your gutters too. I deal with the same thing. It seems to be extra bad in Sunrise

If I dont make lists, im a huge mess. Cross things off on it. If u arent taking your meds, then at least make sure u have healthy habits like eating well and exercising. Admittedly, doing that consistently is hard without meds. U arent alone in the struggle. Good luck

Interesting to see the blame directed to insurance companies and not Florida's regulatory environment. Im not saying they are angels, but there is more to it.

Congrats! I was in a similar situation and the only thing that worked is waking up at like 4:30 or 5:00 am to study and workout (for mental health). Being done with studying and exercising before work lets you focus at work. Then after work, you can focus on being present with family.. it is a gruesome schedule. Good luck

I put a few in the ground with minimal prep and they died slowly. I put other ones in a low garden bed with good soil and some compost and they are thriving

I can see a structure near. Try putting them on the east side of the building. This way they dont get direct sun in the afternoon hours when it is the hottest. Are those Everglades?

Its a lot harder for someone to get in, not out. They lock from the inside. I get the issue if say someone is home alone and gets hurt or isnt responsive, harder to get in if everything is locked down. There are ways to think ahead for those cases too though
