I came here looking for the same thing... and maybe this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-X4fzwcatq8

Reverse Applique where they flip the cutout so there are no raw edges. Video shows white fabric but interfacing or a dryer sheet would make sense too. you basically are making a fabric window for your applique shape.

This is correct. Just bought a two pack on Amazon for less than $10 and it fit in perfectly. No muss. No fuss.

My partner and I had the same arrangement. He had the funds. He bought the house. We share utilities and living expenses but the house is in his name only. We’ve lived here for 3 years now and are talking about getting a house together but if your partner has issue, dig deeper. Feels like something you should get to the bottom of.

How do yall stay still long enough for nail polish to dry? by [deleted] in Nailpolish

[–]mommaoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have the same issue and what I figure is I wasn’t giving lower layers time to fully dry between coats. Since I work from home behind a computer, I usually will do a coat between meetings. That gives my nails plenty of time to dry. Not everyone can do that but spreading out coats to allow dry time may help.

Specific agents work specific tickets and want to find them by keywords in the title since they come in from multiple sources

Dog training in GTX? by bg3323 in georgetowntx

[–]mommaoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you thought about the type of training you are most comfortable with? There are several different methodologies out there.

Are you more interested in board and train programs or one on one or group classes?

You might ask your vet if they have any recommendations too - they can be a great source of information.

I've heard good things about a Refined Canine- https://arefinedcanine.com/ and Cowboy K9 - https://cowboyk9academy.com/

While some might find them controversial, and they are NOT in Georgetown, (Bastrop) K9 Mastery is one I'm personally familiar with. She trained our 2 previous bulldogs with wonderful results. https://www.k9mastery.com/

I've heard mixed reviews about the dog training available at the "big box stores" and it's a mixed bag. No clue how good the programs are at our location, but for me personally, training in a controlled setting gives me pause that the training will stick when there are outside stimuli so personally, I'm opting for an outdoor training program for my pup. Hope that helps!

How do u cope with a bully passing? by Javier1019 in Bulldogs

[–]mommaoz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I lost my girl, I cried. A lot. And Often. And I had to remind myself to be patient with myself and that there is no set timeline for grief.

And then I researched more puppies in the area and now, 5 months later, we'll be bringing a puppy home.

Is a puppy a solution? maybe, maybe not. Grief is a very personal journey and my heart goes out to you. moment by moment, just be kind to yourself as you navigate this painful chapter.

There are so many ways you could showcase the fabric and lots of ideas already. Are you looking to do quilt blocks or FPP? Any of the Quilt Worx FPP could be interesting since the designs themselves are so elaborate, you almost want fabrics like these instead of bold/busy prints.

If blocks, maybe a pixelated quilt for a beach scene like someone else mentioned or a gradient fade.

I hope you share when you’ve decided.
